I drove by the Divine Spa location the other day and noticed the open sign and a new notice posted on the front door. The Los Angeles County recently has allowed these health care businesses to reopen once again.
When I called to make an appointment, the owner did confirm that Hannah, Laura and Paris are on staff and available. Calling for an appointment is recommended. The business is following all the County’s client and employee safety protocols.

Wanted to do an update since the first interview I did for this massage shop since I have been here many times since. Well, I probably have been here about 12 times since my first review so I thought an update was warranted. I have to tell you that this shop is every bit as good today as it was when it first opened. Paris has been my masseuse every time and every time she has provided me with an excellent and 100% consistent massage. Her hands work magic on my body. Sometimes I am sore from going to work or playing tennis and she makes my body feel so relaxed and good again. I sometimes am so relaxed I almost fall asleep in her hands, so to speak. Paris is a very pleasant woman too. Her English is good so we talk a bit too. There are other masseuses there too but I haven’t had them. I am sure they are excellent because every time I go all the masseuses are busy which means many people are repeat customers and have massages from the other masseuses. In fact if they are busy and all the masseuses are busy with customers then the owner Jessica will do a massage, she is a masseuse herself as well, but I think only when the others are busy she will do the massage. The owner Jessica is very nice and even though I get massages from Paris I look forward to seeing and talking to Jessica when I get a massage there.
The massage rooms and lobby of the shop are very clean, well kept and of nice design. Jessica did a great job of designing and keeping the shop very nice and relaxing. One last thing, last year it was raining and when I was done getting my massage I was going to walk outside in the rain to my car but Jessica saw it was raining and took her umbrella out to walk me covered to my car so I won’t get wet. I was okay with getting rained on but Jessica was so sweet to go out in the rain and cover me with her umbrella fully, which means she got wet and I stayed dry. She is so nice to do that I wanted to hug and kiss her but I didn’t but that meant a lot to me.
In conclusion after being a repeat customer since the shop first opened I am qualified to recommend this massage shop. I do look forward to another massage in a couple weeks.

Having been to my fair share of foot massages around this area, I have come up with my own points system in eating these places.
First is the price. It’s pretty competitive around here. There are plenty of $20 foot massages around here, so if you’re charging $25, then my expectations are slightly higher. The atmosphere is great here and the chairs are comfortable. But it’s usually the little things that make or break the experience.
Second is the massage, of course. Nothing terribly special here. If anything, I felt it was pretty mediocre. My masseuse was Hannah. She used a lot of strength in sensitive areas and not enough in typically sore parts. I’m not sure if she is inexperienced or just plain distracted.
Lastly, the service. Many times, the massages all follow a similar pattern. The places are laid out the same way, but the customer service is what determines whether a place is good or not. They accommodated me immediately even though I didn’t make an appointment. Hannah approached me but didn’t speak English. I actually do speak Chinese, but I find that the masseuses try to talk to me a lot during my massages when they know I can speak their language, so I usually don’t let them know. It’s surprising what you overhear as well.
The service is probably one of the worst. They were nice at first. During the course of the massage, Hannah was on her phone for a bit and was talking loudly to the other masseuses. (I usually don’t mind whispering too much.) Her hands even paused several times during the massage because she couldn’t multitask. It completely ruined my hope of coming here to relax after a longer day work. Her skills deserved a higher tip, but because of all the chatting, I ended up giving her $5.
To make things worse, they were gossiping about the $80 tip another masseuse got from a body massage (which cost $40). The lot of them started saying how that customer was the best customer that ever stepped foot in here and how they wished all customers would pay that much. I felt it was very unprofessional of them to discuss this (not even in whispers). Honestly, if that masseuse got $80, I wish I got her instead of Hannah.
Speaking of the $5 tip, when I went to pay, it was the owner at the counter. She was all smiles when I paid, even asking if it was good. I told her it was out of politeness. Then I handed her the $5 to give to Hannah and her face went from smiles to darkness. She even gritted her teeth to call for Hannah and they shared a disappointed look while I was still standing there. They didn’t bother saying goodbye or anything after that so I left. Before I stepped out the door, I heard them complaining about the low tip.
I came here because it was close and reviews said they were good. I guess if you give them a high tip, they’ll treat you with respect. Otherwise they make faces at you. There are other places in the area that have higher quality massages and better service without attitude. I recommend you go to those instead.

My go to place for massages. All the massage therapists there are consistently good and the owner, Jessica, is very nice and accommodating. Great place to go for foot and full body massages and they always throw in hot stones for us whenever we go get the full body massage. It’s a little more pricy than the other shops since there’s practically a massage place on every corner now days… but worth it for the cleanliness and massage quality. I’m a germaphobe so it’s important that the massage chairs are lined with disposable liners and towels are new looking and clean.

Well I went to Divine Wellness Spa last Monday after I did the Chinatown Firecracker 10K.
I felt good after my run, but I thought I would treat myself after the race. Called Jessica in the morning to get a appointment, and she said 11:00a would be fine. When I arrived, Paris was waiting and I told her that I was there for a foot massage. She is a new therapist that I haven’t had the pleasure, but I was glad she massaged me. I have had the other masseuse who works there, and Jessica only has the best. They are very good.
I will be there again in a couple of weeks

This is the best massage place in San Gabriel valley! Owner Jessica is super nice and friendly. Make sure you call (same day) to make appointment and normally they have enough staff for you! I usually get one hour combo massage that combines 40 min full body massage and 30 min foot massage. The price is same as 60 min full body massage but you get the benefit of both! I have insomnia nights but after an hour massage at Divine Wellness Spa I can sleep soundly for a week! I highly recommend this place and if you haven’t been there you definitely have to try! 5 star service

I love this spot. It’s a very clean location. I haven’t had a bad massage here. I was their client at their previous location and the owner sent us a message when she opened her new spot and glad she did. It’s our new to go spot for a full body massage

This is my favorite place to get a massage!
I live a few city’s away but it’s worth the drive to Divine Spa because the massages are always great and inexpensive.
My favorite masseuse is Laura! She is very skilled and always listens to any pain points I want to focus on relieving.
Overall, this is the best place around! I refuse to go anywhere else and they always are able to accommodate me with a same-day appointment. Highly recommended.

This is the best massage place I have visited in the area. Its clean, quiet, and peaceful. (Some of the places I have visited in San Gabriel have been noisy, or the workers chatting with each other while they give massages, or the cleanliness has not been there.)
The massages have been excellent. They have a small area for foot massage, and then a number of private rooms for body massage.
All of the girls working there are very nice. And its a little thing, but they wear uniforms like nurses rather than blue jeans or whatever.
Plus there is convenient free parking directly in front, and also additional parking behind the place too.
I like to get a massage there, then go next door to the nicest Phoenix Restaurant for a good meal. Its just 10 paces away.

Walked in to check out this new place and was able to make a same day appointment. Took my mom here and we both had great experiences. The ladies were professional and released our knots and kinks! Highly recommend this place. Note: They also take credit card with $1 service fee c

My wife and I come here anytime we have any issues with our back, neck, shoulders, legs, or feet and have been coming here for the last 4 years. All the employees here are skilled and professional and are will focus on parts that you say are more sore or in pain. They used to have a shop in San Gabriel called Zi Liang massage on las tunas but they lost they’re lease and had to move to this location. We don’t usually get massages at the same time because we both prefer the same masseuse, Paris. Everyone is friendly and inviting so you really can’t go wrong with whoever is massaging you at the time and don’t be afraid to let them know your massage preferences. If you do have a masseuse you prefer make sure to get they’re name and book an appt prior to arrival. If you have no preference walk in works just fine and usually don’t have to wait. Decided to write a review now to help them out at they’re new location
