Kate has all the essential qualities that make a great massage therapist. She is knowledgeable about the body and knows how to relieve muscular tensions and get great results. Her intuitiveness allows her to identify problem areas and her skillful, strong, and compassionate touch provides healing and relief.
Kate Ripley is an excellent, professional, and thorough massage therapist.
This review comes from a very picky massage therapist.

From the first time I met Kate, I was made to feel so comfortable, like we had known each other for ages. She is always so prompt and starts her appointments right on time. She asks how am I feeling and if there is anything specific I need worked on. I’m always looking for someone who can give a good sports massage, as it’s truly hard to come by! Kate has not disappointed. In addition to the massage, she will often give me tips and tricks to work on parts of the body that she notices are extra tight and sore. A very fair price for what you receive in return.

Kate is beyond amazing! Whether you want a super relaxing massage or if you are looking to get a sports massage to get all your “kinks” out – Kate is fantastic. Beyond being great at massage, Kate is super knowledgeable and her customer service is top notch!
LOVE her business and what she brings to the Boulder community. Thanks Kate!

Historically, about 8 times out of 10 I walk out of a massage disappointed with a $150 hole in my pocket. When it comes to massages, I’m pretty particular. With that in mind, Kate was referred to me by a personal trainer as being the best in Boulder, and she was not wrong. Honestly, this was probably the best massage of my life. It’s clear from Kate’s technique that she has a thorough understanding of the body and can feel precisely where work needs to be done.
Bonus: she’s DELIGHTFUL! I usually don’t like to talk at all during massages, but Kate was so pleasant and interesting that I found myself picking her brain and even laughing throughout my massage. Note that I instigated the conversation each time so don’t worry that she’ll be chatty if that’s not what you’re looking for.
After years of searching, I’m so glad to have finally found my massage therapist!

Kate is my go-to for bodywork in Boulder. I’m an ultra runner who has had both chronic and acute injuries (achilles tendinitis, tight hamstrings, and strained pectoral to name a few), and Kate’s ability to listen combined with her knowledge of body mechanics makes me feel confident that I will step off the table improved. She is positive, kind, and cares about her clients performing at their best

Kate is an amazing therapist. She understands the body because of her personal experience being an elite athlete. (I claim to be a below average athlete in Boulder- perhaps that’s why I need someone like Kate). Anyhow, she is extremely skilled, kind and willing to evaluate and tailor the session to your needs. I will be making another appointment soon.

I’m so glad I did find Kate! My initial massage was skillful and customized to my sports– and I look forward to making her a part of my recovery routine.
Not only is Kate a skill masseuse, she is kind and a good communicator. The office location is pleasant and has plentiful parking.

I was referred to Kate in September 2017 and haven’t looked back. She is excellent, and has been instrumental in helping me bounce back from a hip injury. In addition to massage, she’s offered some great advice on at-home care & maintenance using foam roller, tennis ball, epsom salts, etc…that’s when you know you’re in the hands (literally) of someone who really cares. I always leave Kate feeling amazing, oh and she’s super cool and easy to talk to, too!

I was referred to Boulder Bodyworker in a roundabout way through a mutual athlete client who also saw my sports massage therapist back in Wisconsin. However, I’m thankful for the connection!
Kate, the owner and therapist at Boulder Bodyworker is excellent. She was thorough in getting to know my current training/body struggles and offered to connect me with relevant resources. The actual massage was intense at times, but never overly painful and exactly what I needed! This is how this type of massage works after all!
I’m glad to have discovered Boulder Bodyworker as it is an essential piece of my triathlon training and in keeping myself injury free.

Finally, an intuitive, no froo froo, knowledgable massage therapist! Kate and I met a few months ago and I have had the great fortune of seeing her ever since. I’ve been getting massages since I was in fifth grade… yes, fifth grade. And Kate is among the best. (I’m also a massage snob). Don’t pass her up. You won’t be disappointed!! Thanks Kate!
