TEN STARS
Bottom line: this place is the best thing about Connecticut
The place: Your Green spa
The setting: seven reclining comfy chairs
The people: three amazingly talented women
The music: nostalgic Celine dion, Kenny G
The feeling: heavenly peace and contentment
Some people like beer, some like sports, I like massage and reflexology and this place is absolutely perfect. $35 for an hour is a steal. I came with two friends Miss Philly and Miss Midwest and we were all astounded. Although we are only here until Friday we are making to a point to come back again before we leave this place is too good to not come back to again.

I had purchased groupons for another spa and they didn’t have any space available for the day i needed so i called around and found this spot, they had space. The massages were okay, I had a couples massage and the masseuses were speaking very loudly with eachother making it hard to relax, someone else entered the room and said something which made them stop speaking the the majority of the remainder of the massage. All was well and we went to pay it’s already 110$ massage and I had left 5$ as tip but as i’m leaving the lady called after me loudly saying i have to pay tip. Tip is recommended for good service and i know i didn’t leave the recommended
amount but i didn’t like this

I’ve been here 5 times. They are very clean, the environment is relaxing and booking is very easy. The ladies here are hardworking, nice and respectful. I wouldn’t call what they do massage therapy because there doesn’t seem to be any sort of technique. Imagine someone taking 30-60 minutes to rub oil onto your skin. That’s more of an accurate description of what they do. Don’t get me wrong it feels great, but if you have knots or kinks you want to work on, don’t expect them to resolve it. It’s more of a place to relax and get a rub down. I got a full body massage twice (one was after a grueling leg work out) but it didn’t do much for me, so I stick to the foot massage.
Also they are big on tips. At the end of your visit. The massage lady accompanies you to the front to watch you pay and tip. It’s awkward asf but I’m not easily intimidated lol. Just a heads up.

4 stars only because the bed for a full body massage is not very comfortable in the face region. Otherwise the full body massage was well worth the price. This is a great place to go if you have some knots and can withstand good pressure. More therapeutic than relaxing but definitely what I need.
Will be back! These women work hard don’t forget to tip them well!

As far as foot massage places are concerned. This one “ain’t so bad!” Easy to make an appointment (and switch) if you need to. I agree that the music could be a bit louder. I also think they could attempt to block the light a bit more and the loudness from the restaurant or business next door is easily heard through the thin walls.
As for the massage. I enjoyed it and for $35.00, it can’t be beat. I wish they had been a bit firmer with the pressure but that is totally my fault.
This place, although not as good as the massage place in Milford, is still a solid choice when you’re in this area of the state

Went in for a 30 min body massage (lower legs only) and the woman kept leaving to answer the phone and book appointments! She also was just rubbing my leg up and down, and not actually massaging anything. I had to keep asking to use two hands (she was using the other hand to hold herself up while she was rubbing one leg). Very unprofessional massage by what I later learned was actually the receptionist. They clearly need to have dedicated therapists. She also didn’t speak much English and I described what I needed but she kept misunderstanding. Not a pleasant experience. Will not be coming back.

Terribly run business. Do not put walk ins welcome if you DO NOT WELCOME walk ins. I asked if I could make an appointment to come back later, and she said ‘no, all full’ on a Sunday with no one in there. So disappointing that the person at the desk was rude, and did not even attempt to get me an appointment at any time. Coming from CA where great massage places like this with ACTUAL walk ins welcome… it’s just another sad CT business with no customer service and lackluster employees.

Walked in on a Saturday for a relaxing 30 min foot reflexology massage with my husband. The ambience was very calming, they had curtain dividers for privacy, and it was very clean with comfortable seats and blankets. They covered us in a blanket, dipped our feet in warm water, gave a great massage with lotion, then ended with a hot towel. A very hassle-free experience with a friendly staff. Definitely worth the $25!

I have been here about 4 times and it is convenient, reasonably priced, and relaxing. The first time I went I did the 30 minute massage. It was primarily a back rub, with some arm and leg work. It was good, but less focused than massages I get from certified massage therapists. For the other visits, I got the 60 minute foot reflexology. I prefer the foot treatment just because it lasts longer and there is no noticeable difference between their providers and trained massage therapists. You can hear some noise during the treatments, so I decided to listen to my headphones last time. It made my experience sooo much more relaxing – I highly recommend it!! They have good hours too, but they are hard to reach by phone. I will be going back soon

Amazing massages! Second week in a row and I have noticeably fewer knots. The second lady found a few more, but altogether they are getting smaller and going away! I hope to make it back next week- great hours and always have openings!

I seriously don’t understand who is giving this place anything less than five stars. I’m in love with this place, every time I leave my foot massage I feel like I’m walking on air. You absolutely can’t beat the price! The only downside is the music is not loud enough but after reading another review I’m totally bringing my headphones! Great tip!!

I go here once per week. I have neck and arm pain. The massages can be VERY strong upon request. I’d say its a great place of relaxation. Extremely clean and best of all, open late unlike every other massage place within 50 miles. Highly recommend

Ummmm. No. Maybe my expectations were too high in that I thought a place that advertises reflexology actually knows reflexology. This was a foot rub. And not a very good one. Such a shady place. These poor women. I literally expected to see Robert Kraft come walking out of a room. I went in for 30 minutes of reflexology ideally to alleviate stress. They don’t ask you if there are any areas you’d like to focus on. The feet have pressure points that correspond with different areas of the body. You can alleviate all sorts of ailments by getting reflexology from a TRAINED practitioner. Nope, not here. In fact, they switched my practitioner halfway through my service. And, all of the women were talking to each other. Not relaxing. Not effective. I paid for a light moisturizing foot massage. Nothing more. What a scam. Not only are they not trained in reflexology, they are probably not licensed to be doing anything that goes on in there. I beg the reviewers who think this is good reflexology to go to a real place with trained therapists. Your head will pop off you’ll be so happy. Ugh, I feel dirty and I feel like I flushed $30 down the toilet. Thumbs down

Where, and I will say it again, where???? Can you get a foot massage for 35.00? I go to my normal salon for a mani/pedi but I come here specifically to have my feet pampered. Last week my feet were screaming in pain, did way to much at home. They hurt so bad one side radiated all the way up to my hip. One hour later, no more hip pain. I have gone here multiple times, I have brought friends. For Whole Body Massage though…. Botanicals Day Spa in Avon but for feet…. Here. I asked for my outer foot and ankles to get some extra work, it was done. No questions asked. She didn’t understand me at first but she did get the lady at the front desk to translate for me. They are right near Elmwood Pastry Shop on New Britain Avenue in West Hartford.

Great full body massage at a reasonable price point! I love reflexology joints when I can find them. I wished they would play music as I got my massage so I don’t have to use my headphones. There are places that have massages for $35/hour but $60 an hour is still reasonable. Love the hot stones at the end. Will be back for a foot reflexology session very soon th

I decided to give this place a try for a hand and foot massage because mine were killing me! When I came in, I waited for about 5 minutes before being seen- there was no one at the front desk. The lady who greeted me was very nice and escorted me to a chair. It was very dim inside by comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the soft music bc I’m a Kenny G fanatic and a little Celine Dion on top never hurt anyone.
Let me preface by saying that I usually go get a massage at least monthly by my massage therapist so I may be more critical than the average person. I decided to get the 1 hour combo. I was pretty disappointed with the hand massage. The cream that was used seemed really thick which seemed to make it rather difficult to massage with- seems a massage Oil would have been much better? There also was not much “flow” and so I didn’t feel like my muscles were being massaged well at all. For example, instead of starting at the top or bottom of my forearm and following the muscle all the way up or down repeatedly, it was a lot of pushing to the left or right which wasn’t helping me much. Also, the lady’s nails were really long and like stabbing into my skin which became uncomfortable after awhile. When we finally moved onto the foot massage, it was a bit better but again- lack of skill was evident. I wonder if everyone who works there is professionally trained? Anyway, I stuck it out and the lady continued to be really kind and adjusted the pressure when I asked for deeper pressure. If I’m in a pinch, I may go back for a foot massage but that’s about it. Disappointed, I really wanted to love this place- I need a spot just for reflexology so badly!

4 stars for my first visit. I’m sure I will be upgrading to 5 after I try a few more services! I went yesterday on a lark with a friend for 30 minutes of reflexology. It was an excellent way to spend 30 minutes in a rain storm. The ladies working on us were pleasant and professional and had very strong hands. The space is relaxing, the couches comfortable and the reflexology felt so good (my friend was literally purring like a kitten) ! This business is a great addition to Elmwood. Next time – one hour! See you soon!!!
