I was visiting my sister and brother in law over the Christmas holiday. My sister in law is a member at Serenity and wanted to see if I would want a massage. DUH! We decided to splurge and set up a 90 minute deep tissue. First impression walking in, very welcoming, inviting. Music softly playing and a beautiful entry way.
Jeanne was my therapist and my goodness was she wonderful. I am a sales rep and drive all day for hours so I have quite the amount of knots and Lowe back pain. She knew exactly where to apply pressure and continuously checked to make sure I was okay during the massage. She was very knowledgeable to let me know that for a few days I will be sore but will notice relief a few days later. She was right!
When we visit home again, I will for sure be getting a massage at Serenity. I highly highly recommend this facility!

Had a 60/min Neuromuscular massage with Heather today. She is extremely good! Very professional, thorough and the massage was extremely relaxing. I will certainly be back for a 90/min next time!

had an amazing 90 minute prenatal massage with Kelly. Highly recommend! The ambiance was lovely: pleasant scents, soothing meditation style music, no background noise outside of the room, comfortable rapport with therapist. The massage table was adjustable so I was able to start in a semi seated position and then move to my sides. They also had lots of pillows so it was easy to find a comfortable position.
In my last pregnancy, I had a few prenatal massages (not in the LKN area) with varying degrees of satisfaction, and I’m really pretty easy to please in this department! Some therapists I had were less comfortable with a pregnant woman and would only apply a light touch, and sometimes the table setup is stiff/foamy and not as comfortable. I was very grateful for a positive experience at Serenity Now that checked all the boxes. I left feeling very relaxed but also like some knots/tension was released. I will definitely be back!

My step-father, Art Vandelay, an architect, had a sore hamstring and was also overcome with stress. I booked an appointment at Serenity Now and Raymond was assigned to him. In a word, Raymond was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable, and after the massage, the pain from the hamstring was greatly reduced. Raymond also shared that he was a former flight attendant and shared his top places to visit, which thrilled my step-father. Said it was a moving experience and he would visit again next time he was in town.

I visited Serenity Now over five years ago and really enjoyed my massage, but my therapist left soon after, and I found someone else who was closer to my home whom I started seeing more regularly. I was enticed back when I received an email about their new app, and what a great app it is! You can easily search by treatment, therapist, and day, including evening and weekend appointments.
I tried a 120-minute massage with Julia “Jules”…my first massage of that length! And it was just fabulous. I like light, relaxing massages, and Jules used long, slow movements that really fit the bill. She also used gel, rather than oil or lotion, so I was less greasy when done.
Serenity Now has many therapists to choose from, as well as different options, such as reiki, reflexology, and neuromuscular, in addition to the usual Swedish massage. The only thing I didn’t see on their menu was a hot stone massage.
I should also mention that I had difficulty logging into their app after I downloaded the Mind Body app used by my hairdresser. Unbeknownst to me, the Serenity Now app uses the Mind Body platform, and having separate passwords caused an issue within my login. I emailed Serenity Now, and received a prompt response from Danielle, who submitted a support ticket for me through Mind Body. She continued to follow through on my issue until it was resolved. I was greatly impressed with her friendliness and helpfulness throughout this issue.
I highly recommend Serenity Now for their fantastic massages, convenient hours, reasonable pricing, and excellent service. I can’t wait to return a few times, and become a regular!

ules is awesome for reiki! I had been to a couple other people for reiki before and was disappointed. Jules is great, every session I’d really feel it and feel a difference! I went to her for about a dozen reiki hour long sessions and it really helped me heal from past issues and deal with current situations better. I wouldn’t have believed it til I did it.
Jules also does really wonderful sound bath concerts at places like the meditation room, check that out too if you are into that stuff.
Jules is really wonderful and cares about her clients. If you’re drawn to reiki, it’s worth a shot! They give you $10 off first session
Also the treatment room is so lovely!!!

Heather was great. I’ll be back. She worked out all the knots I had in my upper back and extreme tightness in my lower back.

I just had my first deep tissue+cupping massage with Brandon! He did an excellent job and he truly listened and focused on the areas that I needed the most relief. As soon as I got home from my massage, I immediately scheduled another one with Brandon… needless to say, I’ll be a regular client now!

I wish I could leave a glowing review. Unfortunately, I can’t. Our experience wasn’t all bad, but for what we paid for two 90 minute massages, we’re both disappointed.
Let me just start by saying that I can’t speak much for my husband’s experience. He seemed fine with the massage he received, but mentioned that his therapist’s hands were “shakey” and she trembled throughout the entire massage, which he said was a bit distracting.
My experience was mediocre at best. I was paired with a therapist who seemed very knowledgeable and capable of helping me alleviate some pain and work through a few issues I was having, but once the massage got started it just kind of went downhill. To begin with, no massage therapist should ever spend that much time talking about themselves. Ever. That time is not about telling stories you think the client can relate to, it’s about focusing on what you’re doing. I don’t mind a little chit chat, but this was really excessive. She also seemed really eager to push her knowledge on me about things that I told her I was already informed about, such as taking epsom salt baths and drinking plenty of water afterward. I had specifically asked that she focus on my LEFT shoulder and back area, along with spending some extra time on my feet. Once the massage got started, she spent far too long working my RIGHT shoulder and back, only to barely work my left side at all. The pressure started out perfect, but only on my back. Once she got to my legs and feet, it was like she was barely touching me and she didn’t do extra work on my feet at all. She finished with a light neck massage that didn’t really work anything out, did a couple stretches, and we were done. The next day, my left shoulder didn’t feel any better and my right shoulder was so sore I could barely move. Afterward, I inquired about kinesio-taping and my therapist told me she would be in touch the following day with details, and I haven’t heard a word from her or anyone about it. Although, I’m starting to think that’s for the best.
I didn’t say anything during my massage or afterward because it was simply not worth it. That day had been reserved for relaxation and peace for me and my husband, and I didn’t want to spend it complaining. But now it’s been 5 days and my right shoulder is still sore from being overworked and the more I think about, the more annoyed I get. It’s annoying to think we spent that much money and didn’t receive anything close to what we paid for.
The positives: it was a great atmosphere. The spa itself was cozy and relaxing. The room temperature was nice and the music in my room was great. I do believe my therapist is a good one, but I think her skill dissipated very quickly in the session. Had she not talked so much, kept the pressure consistent, and worked on the areas I requested, then I’m sure her technique would have been perfect for my liking.
In the end, we may give Serenity Now another try, but will most likely chose different therapists if we do return. It’s still up in the air for now.
*update* I was contacted by the owner of Serenity Now after leaving this review. Danielle was kind, professional, and understanding enough to rectify the situation far beyond my expectations. I appreciate her willingness to help and her ability to put a positive spin on what was originally a 2 star review. My husband and I will pay another visit in the future and try our luck with different therapists. Thank you, Danielle.

Nice, clean, quiet massage studio. Very professional people, and decent pricing. They offer a “into/first time customer” price. Definitely recommend trying them out just for that. If youre looking for a relaxing, stress relieving massage, look no further.
