I came in for a body scrub and 90 minute massage and was not disappointed! It was very easy to schedule the appointment the day before, and when I checked in I was promptly shown to the women’s locker. From there I went to the dry sauna, regular sauna, and was then brought in for my body scrub. When they say body scrub they mean BODY scrub. The woman I had was very professional and accommodating and I left with the softest skin! If it is your first time there budget an extra $5 for new scrub mitts.
The massage was fair. It was a reflexology style massage which is not my favorite, but I did leave feeling relaxed and my muscles were thoroughly massaged. One thing I did not like is that the massage room only had a curtain instead of a door and was next to the body scrub room so you could hear the pipes running every time the water was used.

I entered Seoul Spa expecting a day of relaxation and reflection. Unfortunately there were some alarming issues.
As my first time there was no guidance or direction. The customer service was inhospitable. The lack of communication unintelligible grunts and mhmms were met when I asked any questions. They seemed nice.
The steam room and sauna wasn’t gender segregated. So odd , I left as this odd half naked man appeared.
The pedicure was a health violating !
There was no plastic used for the soak tub.
There were no clean or NEW tools used
There wasn’t a scrub .
She used AJAX TO CLEAN MY FEET,
THATS RIGHT DISH WASHING SOAP.
& she didn’t even use a top coat.
FOR $$25.00
Overall bad vibes, I hope I don’t get an infection. Reconsider coming here. I really should get a refund for the worst pedicure of my life.

My friend and I went to try the Korean Body Scrub. Words can’t not adequately describe this amazing experience. You are ushered to either the ladies or men’s locker room you are provided with a wrap, you begin by laying in a dry sauna (heaven) after you go into the steam room, then you are taken to the “scrub” room you lay the table and the therapist starts by rinsing you off with hot water, it feels very therapeutic, the scrub is fantastic you need to go with the flow, you are rinsed and massaged from head to toe with shampoo, body wash and dried off. You are completely exfoliated!!!!
The foot massage is outstanding we had a 1/2 for $25 should have done an 1 hour for $40. Everything was excellent. No complaints. Only wish they had a more inviting staff/owner that greets you. Don’t let that set the tone for your experience. I’ve read other had the same feeling. Thank you Linda & Tina

A friend raved about her experience and I decided to try it with her the second time she went. It was certainly an interesting ‘girls afternoon’. I was happy I went with her, as she guided me through the various lockers, dry sauna room, wet sauna room, and scrum room. In addition, the staff was friendly (well, the ladies that shepherded is around were; the host at the front was matter-of-fact and dry – not a bad thing; he just was). I’ll be back when I’m in the mood for a good all-over exfoliation again. It was a good experience.

Do not go here. I was given a full body scrub as a bday present and decided to give it a go. The man that greeted me, as well as did the whole scrub, was very cold.. He spoke very little English, which is totally fine, but when the few times I didn’t understand and asked again he gave me enormous attitude, almost yelling at me.
I was in and out in 40 min, which is short of what it’s supposed to normally take. I’ve been itchy all day, but now have rashes ALL OVER from who knows what! Someone else I know that went here had a great experience with the woman she had do the scrub, but this was NOT that.

I was there for the 3rd time today and each time my experience has gotten better. They were unable to get me in right away as I was a walk-in but said they could see me in an hour. They allowed me into the spa and relax in the dry and wet sauna’s. The sauna’s are coed so don’t be surprised to find individuals of both genders in there covered by just a small robe. On one review someone seemed to have an issue with this – very unfortunate.
The body scrub was just that. They scrub every inch of your body and then give you a table shower. Afterwards you get a massage. The one I received was fantastic!
For the price I think this place deserves more than 5 stars! Enjoy!

I highly recommend the body scrub here! The salon is definitely “no frills” but you leave feeling incredibly soft, smooth, and relaxed thanks to the thorough, considerate work of the women who work there. They are unbelievably thorough and kind (they often check in with you to see if the pressure/temperature is ok). My massage and facial were nothing special but the body scrub is so incredible that in an ideal world, I would have one done every week – it is THAT good.

Have you ever had a traditional Korean body scrub?? If not, do some reading up before you go. If you are prepared for an intense, bordering on painful but in a good way, rub down of your ENTIRE body with some nicely scratchy exfoliating gloves, you will walk away feeling refreshed and smooth as a baby dolphin. If you’re not prepared it could be a little jarring. I’m going to walk you through my approximately 2.5 hour treatment (the scrub & massage combo) so you can go into your appointment with eyes open and get the most out of your time at Seoul Spa & Sauna.
Arrived and stashed my shoes in the locker in the reception area. They ask you to pay up front which seemed a little weird but maybe they’ve had people stiff them??
Walked back to the ladies locker room to fully disrobe and put on the provided towel wrap. When I say fully disrobe I mean fully. The scrub requires the technician have an all access pass to 97% of your visible skin. I’m a woman and the tech was a woman so this was fine with me but they may have different rules for men.
Before the scrub they want your skin to soften and hydrate so they put me in the dry sauna for 20 mins and the steam room for another 20 mins (to “cook” they said…haha!). It got pretty hot but felt cleansing and they did provide a bottle of water.
The scrub itself was intense and awesome…those mitts (you can purchase your own pair to take home at the front desk…considering the amount of dead skin they get off go ahead and spend the $5, it’s worth it. maybe the owners could just include it in the price and let everyone go home with a pair? They can’t be very expensive and I didn’t love feeling like I was being upsold on a pricey spa service) are rough but my skin has never felt so invigorated or energized. The tech also pours bowls of warm/hot water over your body which is an unusual and pleasant sensation. I also got a nice little face wash and scalp massage/hair wash. Not sure what products they use so if you’re particular you might want to address it up front.
After a final rinse I was bundled into the massage room where the therapist did a very nice job working out my muscle kinks. This spa performs more of an acupressure with some stretching massage rather than what you might be used to (no lavender and Himalayan salt lamps at this place). It’s not what I’m used to but got good results.
A quick change back in the locker room and I headed back to the reception area to leave tips for my therapists and collect my shoes.
Definitely a different experience but I really enjoyed it. It’s cool to have something like this in WH, not to mention, my skin feels amazing today!
Go in with an open mind and let the nice people at Seoul do their thing.
Thanks for reading my ridiculously long post 🙂

This is not the place to go to for comfort and relaxation. I went with a Groupon for a body scrub and day use of the facilities. It was a good thing that I was there a few minutes early to use the sauna and steam room because once you’re scrubbed clean, it pretty much doesn’t make sense to go back. Anyway, you pay $5 for the scrubbing cloths, they take you into a bright room, and the process feels very clinical. No use of aromatic products, I don’t think body scrub products were even used. You are completely exfoliated with the scrub cloths, cleansed with dove body wash, and your hair is shampooed and scalp slight massaged. In the process you are asked to flip on all angles, buckets of warm water intermittently poured on you, and the soaked towel that started off covering your private parts are just thrown back and forth. Yup. But I sure left there super soft! I can’t speak to their other services, but I don’t think I would go back there for the scrub, especially not for the full price. I prefer for my self care experiences to be therapeutic and full of zen.

Love love love this place. A Korean spa in the tradition of a jimjilbang sauna, with traditional spa services like nails and waxing, we bought a Groupon to use for unlimited sauna and a body scrub package.
For this ride, you’d better be comfortable with nudity because they intend to get in all the crevices. You’ll be getting completely washed, so you may want to bring hair/makeup products for when you’re done.
You change out of your clothes and don a towel, leaving your belongings and phones in a locker. You start off in the dry sauna, a lovely small wooden room with an infrared heat, where you lie down and start to bring your body temperature up. A sand timer lets you know when you’ve passed 20 minutes, after which you proceed to the steam sauna, a much heavier, thicker heat designed to get your skin wrinkly and soft before the scrub session.
You stay in the wet sauna as long as you can tolerate it, and when you’re ready, they usher you into the scrub room. You shed your robe and lay on what’s basically a vinyl massage table and your scrub mistress sluices warm water over you before getting to work with her exfoliating mitts, scrubbing rolls of dead skin off and leaving no fold unscrubbed. It can be a pretty overwhelming sensory experience, enjoyable for some but maybe intense for others, but they do have you fill out a small questionnaire beforehand to check in with you about your level of sensitivity.
Once you’re scrubbed up, you get an application of a nice smelling moisturizing body wash, then a nice shampoo and mini face massage, another wave of warm water, and you’re done. Your skin is unbelievably soft and you may find yourself stroking your arms and marveling. You then have the option to decompress in the dry sauna and eventually take yourself back to the changing room and ready yourself to go back out into the world glowing and shiny as a new penny!
