I’ve been getting massages for about twenty years now, and always considered them a luxury. That all changed once I started coming to Sacramento Massage Studio. I now consider massages a necessity and an important part of my monthly routine.
I cannot say enough good things about this business. Just walking in feels like a deep exhale, and Zach’s massages are a physical, emotional, and spiritual reset.
Particularly in the midst of all the stresses and pressures of 2020, this place has been a lifeline. I have been largely hunkered down during COVID, but still feel completely comfortable going here. They are taking meticulous safety precautions, yet it doesn’t take away from the relaxation and comfort of the massage.

Very safe protocols, temperature checks, hand sanitization station, etc in addition to excellent massages and cupping. Zack does an amazing job and combines multiple therapuetic techniques into each massage. Hours are flexible and offers 90 min sessions. Thank you for my amazing care and alleviating my aches. Cant wait for my next massage!

I had such a great experience here. It has always been hard for me to find a massage place that I absolutely love. With the pandemic going on, I was hesitant on getting a massage, but I actually felt comfortable coming in. Each room had air purifiers, everything was cleaned and sanitized after every client, there was no traffic going in and out of the lounge area, and masks are still required (except for when you’re faced down on the table, which then you would be breathing into a bag under the table). My masseuse was Jason. He was great! I have a ton of knots in my neck, shoulder, and back. He concentrated on those areas and really helped loosen everything back up while still keeping my massage relaxing. He would make sure the pressure he was using was good for me… effective and just right, and not painful. I can’t wait to come back!

I’ve had two 60-minute prenatal massages here thanks to some generous friends’ gift certificates ($90 for 60 minutes). Overall, their studio has some nice touches and comfortable tables and linens. The studio is on the corner of the block, so you can sometimes hear cars going by, but it’s not too distracting.
Bree and Jason had very different styles, though admittedly I came in with different requests. My massage with Bree was meant to address mostly my upper body and hips. She definitely focused on those areas per my request, though my hips were pretty sore afterwards. I received a nice, congratulatory card in the mail from Bree a few weeks later, too, which was a nice touch.
My massage with Jason was more relaxing, and he did a great job with pressure. The massage was very thorough and included some stretching with pressure to help elongate. I also appreciate that he asked if I was sensitive to certain scents before the massage started. It was the best prenatal massage I’ve gotten.

Visited on a rainy day the Thanksgiving weekend and had an appointment with Chris.
He was fantastic this place is located in a building that used to be a funeral home. It was inviting and easy to make an appt. very relaxed atmosphere. Small waiting area no quiet area but the rooms were large and dimly lit which is something I prefer in my massage experience.
It was cold in the building though. Next time I am in Sacramento I will definitely visit again.

While we do our part to support our community, I want to take a moment to talk about how AMAZING Sac Massage Studio is.
1. They love our community and even during “normal” times ensure they’re helping people and serving them.
2. They have incredible talent. Zach has an uncanny ability to find areas of tension and work them out with care and expertise.
3. They are VERY clean and well appointed. It’s truly a sanctuary.
4. They focus on customer service–from the courtesy reminders to the hot tea at the end of a massage.
5. There is no better feeling than leaving after a massage–refreshed, relaxed, and calm!

I had one of the best massages and best customer experiences here. Everyone I communicated with and enjoyed a massage from has been both caring and professional. Jason, my most recent massage therapist, was great at not only at giving me a therapeutic integrative massage that addressed something issues I am having with an arm injury, but he expertly and clearly explained what he saw as the issue causing me the discomfort and what else I might be able to do to alleviate the pain and reduced range of motion. I will be making another appointment soon. Thank you Sacramento Massage Studio.

Had a 90 minute massage with Travis. Hands down, best massage. The space is amazing, calming and comfortable. The room is wonderfully warm and inviting, aromatherapy was on point. Travis checked in with me throughout to make sure the pressure was good. And I left with a cup of tea and ready for a nap. Top notch!

It’s my first time here and Aubrey is amazing. This is literally the best massage I’ve ever had. She never goes too aggressive when she’s trying to do deep tissue massage, and the pressure is just perfect for me. It totally worth the money.
