Took my mum to Nomad spa cos she complains about muscle pain so I booked for her the deep tissue massage and she loved it. She told me that she wants to do it again because she feels like her muscles are not aching anymore . Thanks to the wonderful blind lady (forgot her name) who massage 💆🏻 her . She also loved her light snack , I was there with my daughter and nephew and we got welcoming drinks too

One of the peaks of my visit to Namibia this year, is without a doubt the visit of Nomadspa in Windhoek. Nomadspa managed to create this unique wellness house, where you feel cozy and homelike. It is a great place to relax and to experience the local spa opportunities to their best. I loved also their skin products, especially their marula body oil! I will definitely be back! One of the peaks of my visit to Namibia this year, is without a doubt the visit of Nomadspa in Windhoek. I visited this place for a facial and feet cleansing that was scheduled to start at 10:30 but we started at 11:20. First a facial was done which to my experience did not use the best products compared to other facials I have done at other places. After my facial, I had to wait for another 30 minutes before the feet treatment could start. I am a person who likes to be on time and I do not appreciate it when others don’t respect that. This was the reason I even made a booking well in advance (3 days before). I also feel their prices are ridiculously high especially for the feet ceremony treatment.

I have visited Nomad Spa now already twice. I have enjoyed it both times a lot for several reasons:
1. It is different to a “normal” European Spa you would find everyhwere in Europe. The whole building reflects African feeling and also the offering has some special treatments you would not get anywhere else in the world
2. The quality of the massage was always amazing. I was lucky to be treated 2x by a blindgirl and I have never experienced before that someone seems to have such a good feeling in which areas to masage harder/softer and really contributes to a sustainable relaxing experience.
3. Food & Drinks: Even though not a core offering (yet) I tried a salad and very interesting juices. These were delicious.
4. Doing something good: I talked to Mariane, the founder and found out more about the background of the therapists. Some of them are blind, others coming from areas/families where it is very difficult to find decent education/jobs. Nomad Spa indetifying these girls, training them and giving them the opportunity to work is truly incredible and I think these kind of things have to happen much more often. I have visited many Hotels where most therapsits are not even African – while there is so muchunemployment in Africa. So to train local people and give them jobs is truly great.
great Job Nomad Spa and Team! Will always be happy to come back!

So heres this place nestled in Windhoek city hidden away like an oasis. The humble entrance is the perfect exemplification of the warmth this place exudes. Right from the charismatic and engaging owner Mariane (whose story got my wife starry-eyed and inspired) to the wonderful Therapists – quick shout out to Nangura and Martha – Nomad was truly a delightful experience for my wife and I. Needless to say, the signature massage was gloriously relaxing. But what elevated the whole experience was the rich story and cultural immersion that is guaranteed for anyone who visits Nomad! We were bowled away and have recommended this to all our friends.

My first thought as we sipping the homemade ginger beer was : I would like to stay here. After the session: I’m definitely moving in here.
Need I go on? Yes?
Upon arrival we were met by a very friendly and kind lady who ushered us into the changing room. After we don on the robes and slippers we were escorted into a beautiful quiet courtyard where we were served the ginger beer.
The session itself was amazing. And we have had many many on different continents. The ladies are just wonderful. They understand their work. Very attentative. True professionals.
After the session: homemade gluten free dairy free pea soup. Right off the stove.
The manager and the whole team have a mission and they deliver. Nomad Spa is a noble company on a mission. They blew us away.
We will be regulars. Whenever you are in Windhoek, treat yourself. Go to Nomad

Very friendly staff…however the quality of the treatments was not the best. Good effort (thanks for complimentary ‘lunch’ I would suggest you ask individuals- i.e. chicken salad not ideal for a vegeterian). Had mani/pedi both of which were poor quality. You would expect better quality polishes (spa quality brands used globally OPI/Essie) your “Foschini” beauty polish chipped the very same evening.
