Had a great relaxed experience at massage. rittenhouse. the playlists were such a great add. i’ve never been able to listen to my own music during a massage and it definitely added to the experience.
David did a great job on my deep tissue massage and i was very pleased by the end. enjoyable back work at the right pressure. the woman working the desk was also a pleasure to speak with.
loved ending my service with a big glass of water and a truffle!

Wouldn’t recommend. My 60 minute massage ended up being 45 mins. I asked my therapist about it ending early and she said they always build in time for getting dressed, etc. I’ve had massages at a variety of locations and have never encountered this. Usually when you book a 60 minute massage, you get a 60 minute massage. I know what you’re thinking – it’s convenient and easy to book, but trust me – save your money and go to a place that will do your massage right. Pros: pleasant atmosphere, massage therapist was nice.

A very nice place! Enjoyed the space while there and the professionalism of the therapists! They did an amazing job on my neck and shoulders with some techniques I had never experienced in massages before this. I will certainly be going back!

I thoroughly enjoy and highly recommend massage.rittenhouse. I’ve gotten a few massages here before, and all have been great. The front staff is friendly and personable, and the massage therapists are very professional and are very attentive to what you discussed in your pre-massage consultation. Also, being able to choose the scent and music in your room is very helpful with relaxing. I really have nothing bad to say about this place, and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice relaxing experience.

Horrible service at Passyunk. We are members and called for an appointment. The receptionist (Whitney) had left the building at 11:30 and they were open. She said she would call me back when she returned in 15 minutes. That never happened. I called back twice and it went to voice mail. Finally got an appointment with Honey at 1 p.m. but the therapist was half an hour late. Then she hovered at the end to make sure I gave her a tip. Very poor service. I sent one email of complaint that seemed to be ignored, so I’m putting this here and other places on Google, Twitter, and Instagram.

Best experience I’ve had!!! Very professional and I will definitely return! Highly recommend. My fav part was picking out the music and lightening.

Had a great experience here! Very professional staff and Honey is the best massage therapist in the building! Would definitely recommend her to everyone that goes!

I’ve had several different styles and different therapists at the Rittenhouse location and have enjoyed all of them. The therapists are professional and good at what they do. You can customize the music, lighting and the aromatherapy you want. The deep tissue massage by Allison was awesome!

The massage was good, but it was not the massage I booked. I booked a deep tissue massage online with a eucalyptus treatment for my sinuses as an add on. The massage was definitely not a deep tissue. The pressure was light and was very much a swedish massage. I kept waiting for him to increase the pressure. He did not give me the add on treatment either. I honestly am not sure if it was the massage therapists fault or whoever is supposed to communicate to him the type of massage he is booked for. He asked what I was here for, and I responded by telling him my trouble spots and that I had very tight places from current life stress. Hindsight I should have said I’m here for a deep tissue…but he should have known! When I went to pay, she charged me for the add on and I told her I didnt get the add on. She took it off the price but didbt inquire further. Not happy I paid deep tissue price for a light pressure swedish when I needed someone to really work on me.

Happy that they opened this right around the corner from my house. I used to go to the Massage fairmount location and I would say the two are very similar.
The good:
* The smell when you walk in is so pleasant
* You can mostly get a last minute reservation for those days that you need a massage ASAP
* The setup is relaxing and clean and spa like, adds a lot to the experience
* They offer memberships so you can get discounted massages each month
* You can choose which scented oil you’d like for the massage as well as what type of music (including radiohead and the cure!)
* Really tasty truffle and some cold water at the end
The bad:
* This location was a little disorganized my first visit. May improve with the next time
* The membership program was a little confusing so I”m still trying to figure out how to book follow up massages.

When I first went to Massage Rittenhouse I was blown away, you get to choose your music, the massage therapist was friendly and considerate, and you get a chocolate truffle after the massage! BUT the second time around when I tried to schedule a massage, I called 3 times (over the corse of 2 weeks) and left a message with no response, so finally when someone picked up the phone I was thankful, but whoever was speaking to me just sounded annoyed and rude. I might give this place another chance, but as of now, I am searching for a different place.
