Came here on a whim- Wanted to try a new massage place and this place delivered! They take walk ins but to be sure, I called anyway to see if they had any availabilities 30mins later, which they did! Staff was very friendly.
My masseuse was Fiona; she was amazing! Fiona knew exactly where my back was hurting and she put in some extra time on those areas. She always made sure to check in with me if the pressure was ok. This massage just felt tailored to what my body needed, as opposed to a “standard massage routine”.
First half of the massage was with a cloth over my body, then oil, and then hot stones! $30 for one hour, can’t beat that! (Accept cash/ card)
Will definitely be coming back! Wish they had a stamp card like the place next door

Place has gone down hill from my top 3 places to go to my bottom 3. Not sure what happened to this place, it use to be pretty good. Never thought a massage could be so bad. She had no clue what she was doing even left my arms oiled up after. No bueno sorry guys I won’t be coming back.

Angela is the best massage therapist in LA. She’s sensitive, conscious, and constantly asking about the pressure. It was nice to have a conversation and nice to relax. This was the most comfortable experience I’ve had at a massage parlor.
I paid $30 with a $10 tip for an hour of body + reflexology and hot stones. My body is still humming and feeling so relaxed from the great work done.
I highly recommend this place and Angela the massage therapist!

Oh my god. I LITERALLY just left this place and I felt the need to write this review. I LOVE THIS PLACE. This is going to be the spot I tell ALL my friends, family, coworkers, dogs, birds, oh my god! I am honestly the type to always opt for the store that has more aesthetics so I was not keen on the idea of coming here but my dad insisted on this place and boy!! I would love to make this a monthly thing!
I had a male masseuse (fairly old Chinese guy) and he was so kind to check on the pressure multiple times throughout my session to make sure I felt most comfortable (other places failed to do so). He worked on areas I was most tense and just gave me the BEST experience I have ever had.
I received the hour long session (head, shoulders, feet, full body, oh my god) and it was SO WORTH the money
This. Is. It

Great place for a really affordable massage! I came here for the 70 min combo (40 min body and 30 min foot) for $30 plus $10 tip. Once you think that the total is $40 and not too much on the tip (33%) then I think you’ll find that super reasonable.
The only downside to the 30 min foot was that I realized that it was pretty much combined with the body rather than 30 solid straight minutes on my feet.
I also noticed that they’re not super on top of privacy because there was always a gap in the curtains so anyone could technically walk by and see you. Granted, everything they see is pretty much covered by a towel but still. The sense of privacy isnt truly there. I didnt care too much but I can definitely see that annoying people.
Another thing is the parking! I noticed that it says private lot but I didnt see any (maybe it’s in the back) but there were plenty of street parking when I went around 11am.
Will definitely be back!

Parking: there is so designated parking or parking lot/garage. There is typically street parking right in front of the store (or nearby), but it’s definitely hit or miss.
Massage: they offer a full body massage and a foot & body massage for basically the same price and time length. I’ve always asked for the combo, but a couple of times I think they did not hear me and gave me body. It was still a great massage, but there’s almost no focus on feet which I personally prefer. I’ve always had good experiences with pressure, noise level, areas massaged. They also include hot stones! And use hot towels at the end of each side (lying on your back vs lying on your stomach) to wipe the oil that was used.
Cost: like many massage places, this place is very affordable. I typically get a $30 massage and leave a $10 tip. My masseuses have always been appreciative of my tip and never demanded more like some other places have done to me *eye roll*
This is my go to spot and I would definitely recommend it

I was debating if I should even post this. I went in for a massage. I called in advance and asked for an appointment in the evening when I was done with work. I arrived and signed in and stood at the front desk for about 10-15 mins. No one was sitting up t the front desk. Finally someone came and told me to follow them to the back. They did not take my temperature at all. They showed me to the room and I was getting changed. I wasn’t even done getting changed before they asked if I was ready. After getting changed I lay down and the woman comes in to give me my massage. No more than halfway through the massage I hear someone in the front asking for help. It’s about 5-10 mins before anyone acknowledged that person. A man goes up and it turns out it’s either the police or the health department. They ask for the business owner who is not on site. They asked the officer to wait 5 mins until the owner could get there. Side note, there was also a couple with a child and they took the child back to the massage area with them. I believe they were both getting a massage while their child was sitting near by. The owner wasn’t coming back to the business fast enough so I could hear the officer telling the man that they were going to have to shut them down because there was no operator resent, they didn’t have the proper documentation in them place it should be presented and because there were children in the back and they were only allowed in the waiting area. The woman giving me a massage had to stop to provide her massage therapist certification to the officer. At that point I was in the table barely covered and she stepped out to the officer who was right outside the door, he may have seen me there which makes me feel uncomfortable. The owner eventually came and the officer was telling him an operator needed to be there during business hours and he couldn’t leave until they closed. They ended up letting them stay open. The woman finished my massage and when I walked out the staff was standing in a circle taking about what happened. They charged me the normal price and didn’t even acknowledge what had just happened. I don’t know if this business was reported on purpose or if they were doing a random check. They didn’t have to correct documentation displayed, they did not check my temperature or the other couple who came in after me, and there wasn’t any management on site. This will be the first and last time I go to this place. This incident really left a bad impression on the way they operate.

I used to like it here, at least most masseuses I experienced before they worked hard and I really felt relaxed everytime I came here; but the experience I had today was totally different like before. It feels like they hired a group of new masseuses who know so little about massage…my whole body feels sore/worse after having massage here…
There are some obvious problems:
1. They used their phones way too often.
The owner really should ask/educate the masseuses not to use their phones while working with customers, I think this is the basic manner that all the masseuses should know, people come to relax right? They shouldn’t bring their phones into the massage rooms at the first place! To be honest, the experience I had today was kinda insane, my masseuse answered her phone like more than 6 times within an hour. More than 6 phone calls in only 60 mins, I doubt anyone could relax like this!
2. (Okay, what’s even worst? )
They never prepared anything in advance.
My masseuse kept walking out to get stuff and not coming back on time, the longest wait was like 5 mins for the hot water. And the same for towels and hot stones, to be honest, I didn’t get it why. The whole hour she walked out and collected stuff like 5 times at least, which means every 5-10 mins they needed to either answer the phone or leave the room. I’ve never ever experienced anything similar like this, that was so unbelievable and unbearable.
3. At least 35%+ tips are needed.
I understand this is a hard work and tips are highly expected, and I never mind tipping a bit more for great services. But the problem was that I’ve never heard anyone saying “thank you” after tipping. They always made me feel guilty even I tipped more than 1/3 of the price. Well, in my opinion, this is wired!
4. They hired only part time masseuses
Which means no matter which massage places you go, you see the same group of people? Well. Which is fine, but please just get someone who is professional and well-trained!!
I have to say the overall experience this time was totally not pleasant at all. Very unprofessional and disappointed. Just really hope the store owner could fix all these problems, otherwise I’m sure most customers would probably not want to go back again!

STRONG masseuses! Ask for Lily, she will go to town on your back if she feels the tightness in your back. I had recently came back from a 5 plane ride and my back got super tense from the plane ride. I came in to get a massage to try and fix my back, and Lily was the cure!!! Amazing price for a full body massage! $30 for 60 mins. Remember to tip them wel

My first time getting a massage and it was spectacular! Sasa was my masseuse and she rocked. I got one hour of service and got a free hot stones treatment which was amazing. They are very nice and I feel like it relieved my aches and pains. Her hands were so strong it hurt but a good hurt. I have discovered a new realm of relaxation and I would definitely do this again

Since the owner knows that massage business is very competitive out there, they should focus on giving good customer service. Then, they wouldn’t worry about getting bad reviews. I am writing this b/c I hope the business can improve.
Even though the price is cheap but it doesn’t take away giving good customer service:
1. Enforce the late rule. For example, If the customer is late for 15 min, the massage will be shortened by 15 min.
So they would not take away time from the next customer.
2. No talking on cellphone while massaging customer. Be professional & considerate.

After seeing all the good reviews about Louis, I was able to get a same day appointment with him! I could barely move my neck or back the day before and had aches all over my body due to getting too lit, it happens.
It’s located next to fresh roast and also has parking out back that you can enter through from the side street! Louis has such strong hands and puts in so much effort, he seriously got every muscle in that 1 hr span. He was sooo thorough and he was 100% engaged the entire time.
I was so sad for the massage to be over, my body is sooo mobile now! I could move my neck so freely. He also uses hot rocks and it’s so relaxing! He’s so friendly also. 10/10 experience. Make sure to get Louis and leave him a good tip too!

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect going into this place since I decided to get a last minute massage at 8:30pm on a Tuesday night. I was hoping the overall positive reviews would lead me to a trusty place I could come back to, especially at its price point, but after my first massage here, I’ve decided that’ll be my last. I called in at around 8:15pm asking if I could come in at 8:45 for a massage. The lady over the phone was very nice and simply asked if I wanted a full body or a foot massage (to which I replied full body) and then warmly invited me to come in. I found street parking right outside of the shop on San Gabriel Blvd. I believe you can also park in the back (enter from Broadway). As I walked through the door, I was quickly rushed in by a male worker, who I later found out was Luis, my masseuse. There was no time for a greeting, and I felt bad because he told me to come in even though two men had walked in right before me. Granted, they were looking at the massage menu. I assumed they knew I was the one who called, so he was on the lookout for me. He quickly opened the curtain into a room and then walked out. At that point, I didn’t realize he would be my masseuse. I sat there until someone returned — and alas, it was him. I didn’t get a chance to ask for a female masseuse, and I felt rushed to tell him, oh by the way, I’m pregnant. It took him some time to understand (as he speaks Mandarin and isn’t fluent in English) and he proceeded to ask how far along I was. I had told him 4.5 months. I thought he would make adjustments for it, but it didn’t seem that he did anything differently. I was at another massage place where the masseuse had me lie down on my side instead of my tummy. That was what I was expecting here too. Mind you, that was also a $30 body massage. Same price. Completely different experience.
So he had me lie down on my tummy for more than half the massage, which was inevitably eventually uncomfortable for me. On top of that, his phone rang loudly throughout the hour, and he picked it up each time. Within the first five minutes of the massage, he had two incoming calls and made one outgoing call. He was not discreet at all, simply talking at a normal volume and then even raising his voice to talk to workers outside. And then he walked out of the room several times as he took his calls. When he didn’t walk out of the room while on the phone, he’d massage me with one hand while, presumably, holding his phone with his other. It was such an interrupted massage that I honestly couldn’t help but laugh in my head. It was almost unbelievable how unprofessional the entire experience was. I kept giving him the benefit of the doubt. I thought, well, this is what I get for coming to a $30/hr place. But then I think about places I’ve been to at that same price point and realize I just can’t justify that. I think, maybe the other masseuses are better and more professional. But as I went back and read other reviews (after my massage), it appears that Luis is one of the better masseuses. I figure if that’s the case, I certainly won’t be returning. I wasn’t really sure of his massage method either. It kinda felt like he was just rubbing really hard and randomly from section to section. I left utterly confused and also with more aches in my back and neck than I came in with.
I don’t often like to write a poor review based on a first bad experience. I think it’s fair to give a second chance, also for the sake of consistency. But my experience seems to be the culture of the massage parlor and the norm rather an exception. Although he was nice, I would not and could not put myself through that again. I still tipped him generously because I acknowledge and understand the tipping expectations at these low-cost places. I also think these abundant 5 star reviews really led me astray, and I need to contribute to some honest experiences here!

This is my go to place for deep tissue massage. I’m that person who needs to see a chiropractor and then get a massage to get all the pain out. I just recently upgraded from the foot massage to the combo which is so worth it! It’s 70 min of deep tissue full body massage, hot oil stones on your back, and a foot soak massage. Yes please! I always see Luis because he uses the right amount of pressure and gets into areas that are usually off limits like the sciatica. When you’re in pain, it’s needed. Make sure you let him know where the pain is. I remember going to Burke Williams and they wouldn’t touch my sciatica area at all. I paid way too much for a half fast massage at a high end spa. Never again. I come here to get that full body experience. Worth it every time.
