This place is relaxing at an affordable price. Highly recommend visiting!
I prefer the saunas to be a bit warmer, but it’s not a deal breaker. The cold swimming pool is REALLY cold. I didn’t see anyone last more than 5 seconds in there. I made it to 4 seconds

Immersion Spa is a great escape from the fast-paced Silicon Valley lifestyle. It is so quiet, clean & the energy is so positive.
I absolutely LOVE being exfoliated at least once a month to renew not only my skin but my spirit and soul.
It is like getting a massage but with the added benefits of shedding old & tired skin cells to allow you to emerge as your new & fresh self!
As a preschool teacher, I am happy to treat myself to such pampering for only $100!

The facility is really clean. So calm, especially the salt room is my favorite! I have been going so many years, and there is no place in the Bay Area like that to go get scrab, massage, skincare at the same time with high-quality service. I love it! After the spa, I always feel lighter, better and realize life is good and I am a lucky one-:

Immersion is my favorite spa in the south bay. It’s clean and usually not too crowed, so you really get to enjoy the peace and feel relaxed.
I’ve had one hour massage session with Sumi, she was able to loose every single knot in my body. She asks about the pressure and adjusts according to your request. Ask for her, and you will love it. Just make sure you tell her “more pressure”, “less pressure” and she will adjust. Communication is the key to give you the most relaxation.
I’ve also had facial with Jenny. She is gentle, caring and very knowledgable. My skin was flawless for months after her touch.
I’d give this place seven stars if I had the option.

Great place. However, if you’re Korean or Asian like me and would like the real Korean scrub experience, I would let the lady giving you the scrub know as she will do the scrubbing closet to how it’s done in Korea – stronger! The pure bliss is super relaxing. My only gripe is that the scrub room is freezing!!! Can they please crank the heat up?

Wow, that was terrifying! Well the massage anyway. There were legit moments where I had to brace myself. Actually, I take that back… I had to brace myself the whole time…even after I asked the masseuse to go lighter. I thought it might have just been my massage but my husband felt the same way about his. The amenities on the other hand were lovely. You do have to be nude but we went early enough that there weren’t too many people.
Would I go back for a massage? Hell no! There was one moment where I had to puff my chest so that I wouldn’t be strangulated when the masseuse was stepping near my neck.
I would go back for the amenities though. So all in all: 1-star for this massage and 4-5 for the amenities.

I booked the pure bliss treatment here and it was truly amazing!! A couple things to note for those of you who have never been:
1. Making the appointment online was really easy. They have a lot of availability, even same day! Their website also says that walk-ins are welcome.
2. It’s a naked spa, if you are uncomfortable being naked in front of others, this is not the place for you. On the other hand, it was liberating and a wonderful experience! All employees were very professional and never once did I feel awkward.
3. The pure bliss treatment included a full body scrub, full body massage, face mask, scalp massage and a shampoo. It was 90 minutes, incredibly relaxing, the pressure was AMAZING, and my skin is now so smooth. It was truly a great experience and 100% worth the $140.
So why did I give them 4/5? A couple things:
1. I have been to spas like this before and I expected to spend an hour or two after my treatment using the services such as the steam room and the salt room, having tea and generally lounging. These services were really nice and super clean, the issue was they were small and they did not have a lot of lounging room in between. At spas like Burke Williams, it is really easy to spend a couple hours there, at immersion, I spent maybe an additional 30 minutes and then felt like it was time to go.
2. Everything about my masseuse was wonderful except one thing. She truly had great professionalism, her massage was amazing, and it was so relaxing. The only issue was the speed at which she moved. She was so fast (though she did use he entire 90 minutes) I felt like I was rushed. Even little things like moving my head to face the other way was really fast and sort of a jerking motion. Though I would recommend her, just know this going in.
Would I go back? 100%. I would just go with the mindset that I’m going to get a wonderful massage and scrub but not spend extra time at the spa itself.

After the nice video from the Conan Show featuring a traditional Korean Spa, it’s probably a little too daunting for anyone muster up the courage enter into one. If you had to start somewhere, this is definitely the right spot. The facility is clean. Upon entrance, we were greeted by a young lady that explained the services. We booked a traditional scrub and massage 60-minute treatment.
We started off enjoying the facility with steam room, sauna, whirlpool, and salt room. This is slightly different than a traditional bath house where there is usually multiple hot saunas with different temperatures as well as an herbal room. This facility was fairly basic. The difference is that rather than the scrubbing tables in a communal room, each scrub area was separated by glass. The technician was experienced. She asked couple minutes into the scrub if I wanted a more intense strength. Being a veteran of Korean spas, I asked for more intensity. After 30 minutes of getting rid of all my dead skin (you’ll feel it flying), she started on the massage. To finish off the treatment, she washed my hair and sprayed my with warm milk. Ahhhhh…smooth at last.
Here is what’s missing: a hot stone napping room, temperature hot tubs, a traditional Korean Restaurant.
With that said, highly recommended. Beautiful facility. Good service. And English speaking technician a plus.

Great find! Very clean, contemporary and had ample parking. Had the silky scrub and massage, and while I have had better elsewhere (not as vigorous as other traditional Korean treatments I have had and a bit rushed) it was fine. The one annoying thing was the housekeeping woman cleaning the spa area and locker room was quite rude. Kind of dampened the relaxation vibe. But I would go back again for sure.

You can definitely go to Immersion to luxuriate in a clean steam room and hot tub and enjoy a massage– just don’t expect it to be exactly like a “Western-style” spa. ]What you will get: a no-nonsense therapist who will methodically work on your body, possibly removing an entire layer of skin.
You’ll arrive at the facility and be taken to your gender’s area, removing your shoes and receiving towels and a robe. The women’s spa area is no-clothing and has a salt room, steam room, dry sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge. The hot tub and steam room are both really warm, and the salt room is a little more mild. If you opt for a Silky Scrub, it’s suggested that you steam or soak for 15 minutes before your treatment so your skin is all primed to be scrubbed. When it’s time for your scrub, the therapist — wearing a black swimsuit — will come out to the hot tub and call your locker number. You’ll follow her back into a stall about the size of 2 large showers with a laminated cushioned table where you will lay down, fully naked. Your therapist will get to work on scrubbing off the dull, dead skin, periodically rinsing you off with warm water. If you got the Silky Scrub Plus, after 30 minutes of scrub, your therapist will direct you out to the showers for a quick rinse before you get your “mini-massage.” You’ll return to your shower stall and lay down onto your laminated table, again. The mini-massage starts out with a dry massage and then transitions into a super slick massage on your newly buffed skin. Your scrub ends with a luxurious shampoo/scalp massage, and your therapist will put your long hair into a sweet bun with a towel.
If you opt for a standard massage, the therapist will come retrieve you (or you enter yourself? This has been unclear for me) from the locker room area. The standard massages are done in rooms outside of the wet spa area. You have the option of having your back gently walked on — highly recommend if you can brave it! My therapist adjusted my back in a way that only a chiropractor had been able to before; these ladies know what they are doing.
A few things to note: they ask that you don’t use the hot tub or steam after a scrub because you’re all lotion-y/oily, tips are cash-only, and phone usage is not allowed in the locker room/spa area. You can call the front desk to request more towels if you need.
There’s a very small “lounge” area with 1 long couch — wish it were a little more built out! And it would be nice to be able to buy some food. But I guess if I could comfortably lounge and eat, I’d stay the entire day on just a spa pass.

An amazing spa experience worth it’s price. My friend wanted to do a girls spa day for her birthday so the three of us came to get the 90 minute spa session here.
They asked you to come 30 minutes early so you can soak in the jet spa for 15 minutes beforehand. The facilities are nice and clean and the service is superb.
My therapist scrub me from head to toe and I was so squeaky clean! They followed the scrub with massage first by stepping on your back (gotta get to that deep tissue!) than soothing oil massage front to back. Next was a vitamin C facial and wall of the mask is on you she continues to massage you followed by a milk rinse. This was a 1.5 hour pure relaxation indeed!

Immersion Spa is a nicer version of other Korean Spas in the general area. That doesn’t mean it’s a luxury spa – Korean Spa’s usually are not – but in exchange it also doesn’t come with the price tag of a luxury spa and everything is kept very clean, which I appreciate.
I especially love their Silky Body Scrub – it gives you baby soft skin and it’s just wonderful to have someone wash your hair! Just be prepared for a serious exfoliation treatment
It’s a no clothing place, so don’t try to run around in your bathing suit. Nobody here is interested in how you look naked anyways, it’s a place to focus on cleaning and caring for your own body and mind. I return here frequently to detach from Silicon Valley craziness.
