I finally had the opportunity to check out my nearest neighborhood foot massage place. I didn’t know this place existed until I happened to look one day after dropping off my dry cleaning. I always thought it was an office of some sort.
Anyhow, this place is legit and it’s clean. I wasn’t nauseated nor suffocating compared to the other foot massage places that sometimes don’t turn on their air conditioning. It was a full house when I went inside. So I had to wait about 15 minutes before I got my space.
Even though the Chinese lady who massaged me wasn’t that strong, and maybe she’s still new to this industry, I give her credit for doing a good job. My friend had a Chinese male whom he said was strong and really loosened him up. So, sometimes it is good to have a man instead especially if you are very tense. But I still prefer a female touching me. hahaha.
The foot massage consist of probably a forty minute body rub which felt awesome, and a twenty minutes foot rub which was good too. Sometimes their knuckles hurt! especially around the arch area of your feet. But I enjoyed it.
It costs $15.00 plus tip per hour. Yes, inexpensive. I usually give a $7.00 tip to eliminate the fact if they were to complain about not tipping enough. So $22.00 bucks is plenty fair.
So all you rich people, please don’t ruin it for us! LOL

After a 1 1/2 hour hike then a workout at the gym I was ready for a foot / body massage and didn’t want to break the bank. The parking lot was full but I managed to find parking on the side street.
I got there on Saturday am around 11:15 and they had 4 clients already. The tables are comfy and are electronically operated that adjust. My masseuse an Asian dude was strong and worked my body over well. He started on the temples of my head then arms and finally my feet after they soaked in scalding hot water for around ten minutes. I caught myself dosing off which is a good sign of a relaxing massage and was then instructed turn over. He then proceeded to massage my entire back and legs with his elbows and forearms which was awesome.
Overall my experience here was impressive and for only $15.00 plus tip I was a happy and rejuvenated guy! When I departed the joint emptied out which was surprising.
I’ll definitely return here again

My family and I love getting massages. We go to the nice expensive places but we always come back to the SGV area for massages: cheap but massages are how we like it, hard and so refreshing. In the SGV we like Hong Sheng: the owner is friendly and the staff so pleasant. The place is small and very clean, especially the towels which smell nice. We recommend coming here but do make an appointment

Since I live down the street from this place I thought I’d give it a try. Only my 2nd massage at one of these places. The place is very clean with gentle Asian music playing in the background. My masseuse Amy was great, she found the very spots on my back that were tense and sore. She knows how to give a deep tissue massage and knew when it was time to back off. The overall experience was great and I will definitely treat myself to another massage at this establishment

I think it is just too difficult to give any of the foot soak places in the area an adequate evaluation because dependent on who you get each visit the experience can be very different. I have visited this location twice and compared to the others in the area I certainly know what I don’t like at most of the foot soak spots!!!
Pros:
-Quiet with soothing music, aka- nobody speaking loud Chinese between each other and no loud Chinese drama on the tv (ok it was on the tv but with no volume)
-They close the door so traffic sound does not carry into the place making it loud
-Full Upper Body and Lower Body Massage with foot soak and foot rub
-Most of the time is spent on your entire body with maybe 20-25mins on the feet
-He washed his hands so you can’t smell smoke on his fingers like some places when they put their hands on your face or near your nose
-$15 gets you an hour of great service
-Andy knows English pretty well
-Place was not busy so no wait
Cons
-He does some weird thing that is like scratching my head instead of massaging it, it was just weird but not horrible
-The foot soak was not super hot and got cold quickly
I don’t know for sure that if you come here it will be a great experience but to me $20 ($15 +$5 tip) is $20 well spent, I mean I spent $20 on a head light just before and $20 on Prevacid right after so I would prefer to spend it on something I want rather than something I need…Just sayin’

I found Hong Sheng Foot Massage from a friend. For $20 I received a 60 minute foot massage and body massage. I found the pressure to be just right and it was very relaxing. The beds are close together in an open room so if the place is busy, you may be in close proximity to someone you don’t know. I would recommend this business and go back again. Good value for my money.

I have been coming here since they first opened. In fact on the door handle as you enter you can still see remnants of a sticker picture that my friend and I placed on the handle during one of our late night foot massage escapades.
I have been to many foot massages over the years but this has always stayed my favorite. I always get the basic $15 an hour massage and tip between $5-$8 and they are always happy. I’ve gotten to know the owners over the years and they always seem Ginuwinely greatful for my business. Some of the other foot massages I’ve been to over the years, especially on Valley Don’t Seem To Want To Deal with non Asian clientele but I’ve always felt welcomed here.
As with anything some of the workers are better than the others but for the price, ambiance and friendly attitude you simply can’t beat it.
My favorite masseuse was a lady named Grace. I met her on my first visit here and watched her evolve over the years as she learned English and went to school to become an accupuncturist. Those are the kind of people you meet here, hard working people trying to better themselves.
Great place. Highly recommended.

BEST MASSAGE PLACE EVER!! First of all, I hate getting massages because I am a very ticklish person, but this place made me love getting them. I got the foot massage for 1 hour and a back massage for 30 minutes. They put your feet in warm water for about 15 minutes and massage your neck and face while your feet soak. They then massage your feet and legs. It was so relaxing, I fell asleep. The service was amazing and the staff are so nice. They are all very experienced in what they do. Also the prices are amazing for the massages that they give. Definitely coming back!

Juicy $15 Foot Massage in the SGV – one of the better ones
Great massage for cheap. I like it that it doesn’t hurt and I don’t have to squirm. Some people may say the pressure is not strong enough. I’m sure you can ask them to make it stronger. But I’m just glad to have found a place where I don’t have to ask them to lighten up the massage on my feet, especially the sensitive areas on the bottom of my feet.
I got a male masseuse thinking it was gonna be really painful and it wasn’t. I believe his name was Frank. The massage was very relaxing and comfortable. They have enough chairs and masseuse for at least 8 people. We came in with 3 people and were taken care of right away.
First they start off with a head scalp massage, then they massage your feet and legs, after they turn you over and massage your whole back. I like it that the recliner has an opening where you can put ur face through. The other places didn’t have a hole to put your face in so it was uncomfy.
They also had a buy 10 get 1 free deal. The body massages are $30, haven’t tried those. But I did get the buy 10 get 1 free deal so I will be coming back again.

Its true, $15 and they do a great job. It’s a very cheap escape from reality, it’s a $15 trip to Hawaii for an hour. Very nice & clean. Easy.

Ok – 1st disclaimer.. this is my 1st “professional” massage; I’ve had ones by girlfriends, friends who were training to be masseuses or did exchanges with pros..
That said, I don’t think you need to have a ton of experience to enjoy a thoroughly, relaxing hour. These folks seemed to be really working harder to earn your business.
Enjoy!

My sister and I are on a mission to find the perfect foot soak place, so I visited this one with a girlfriend after someone else told me it was great. I think it was a good place if you’re looking for something very quiet. The massage was good, and the place was very clean. I only have 2 complaints: it was stuffy with no a.c. when I was there, just the door open. Also, the chairs were new, so they were kind of stiff, but they did recline to let you lay down on your stomach, which is a plus. Other than that, it’s a good place, not perfect, but I would go again.
