I’ve been to quite a few different Hand and Stone locations and this is by far my favorite.
I became a member primarily because I was experiencing issues with my skin and wanted to begin getting facials regularly. Since then, I have alternated between both facials and massages. Never, have I been disappointed with the services provided.
I highly recommend Jacline as she really takes her time to evaluate your skin and provide advice on how to care for your skin

I’ve given this place the benefit of the doubt way too many times. I’ve had probably 10 massages here give or take and ive had 1 good experience. Today was by far THE WORST. I’m a mom to a recent 2.5 month old and get no time to myself and took myself to get a massage. It couldn’t get over fast enough. She basically tickled me the whole time after asking 3 times to up the pressure. She massaged my armpits? No idea how that has any effect on my back. And the only time she did put some pressure was when she was massaging my carotid artery. Worst $74 I’ve ever spent. Do not waste your time or money

Just had a massage there with Bree (around$74) as the COVID phases are starting to open up. She was great however the construction going on next door over powers whatever zen music the room had going on. I literally heard the rocks falling down and the construction trucks backing up my ENTIRE massage session. I thought the wall was going to cave in. How pleasant huh?As I’m checking out. I tell MYA about how unpleasant my visit was due to the noise and she proceeded to charge me a $10 “package transfer fee” because the massage was under my father in laws membership. I tried pleading with her, telling her that considering all the noise she should’ve left that $10 fee as a complimentary service being that they were already getting their $74 massage paid for. Mya didn’t care. And I don’t care to continue to be a client where the customer service is poor. Good luck with your business post COVID guys! You’ll need it

I went here & was recommended by Allison (the receptionist) to Jacline. I told Allison I was very particular & picky about who touches my face.
I was a little skeptical seeing as Hand & Stone is a chain…
But I instantly became a member & she was so accommodating to everything & very knowledge. I will always be a returning client of hers, she’s an angel. I am absolutely glowing!!

I’ve only been here once since this location opened and I won’t likely be back. The service is really great, so no disapproval of the staff that worked there when it opened. However I was not impressed with the massage itself.
Atmosphere 4/5: It’s a standard chain style of spa. Nothing fancy. Free water in the reception room, but no specialty waters were available. The rooms were clean but again nothing fancy.
Massage 2/5: My masseuse was very nice and respectful. It just wasn’t very good. He didn’t find pressure points or knots – he just did a generic rub all over. I had mentioned and hoped he’d focus on areas that clearly needed more work, as I have back problems and all other masseuses have focused on those immediately after finding them. The masseuses seem young and a bit inexperienced.
Price 2/5: For the quality of the massage, their pricing is too high. It’s comparable to other chains, but I hate how the prices vary even within this chain. If you look at pricing from other Hand $ Stone Massages, the pricing will vary depending on location which makes no sense.
Overall, I prefer to pay the same amount or more for a more professional and personalized massage. Or, I go to an authentic Thai or Chinese masseuse which is much cheaper and they really focus on the spots that need it.

I just finished with my massage with Rebecca! She did an excellent job on my massage! I will definitely be back! I purchased my coupon on Groupon for an hour session, it was worth every penny! I came in with back & neck pains. I feel some much better! I am so relaxed! I will be back on Thursday again when I get paid for another massage! Lol I definitely recommend this location & my massage therapist Rebecca. Purchase a coupon on Groupon & see for yourself! I just checked & the Groupon special has expired

I bought two Groupons for Hand & Stone in Woodbridge; one was a massage for myself, and the other was as a facial as a gift for someone else. Both the massage and facial vouchers did not expire until March 25th (over a month from now), and yet, when I called to set the two appointments and use the vouchers, the secretary that answered said that they “aren’t running that promotion anymore” and that I can’t use the vouchers. She put me on hold twice, clearly not knowing what to do. Finally she asked for my name and phone number because “the owner will have to you back” because they’re not running the promotion anymore. She did not let me make my two appointments. And needless to say, this was a few days ago and I never received a phone call back. I just went ahead and hunted down customer service at Groupon for a full refund on both vouchers. I’m seriously annoyed. How unprofessional. They need to better train their front desk staff and next time honor their prior commitments instead of losing potential return customers.

Terrible and rude customer service!! I made my appointment the day of and I tried to cancel it two hours after making it and they charged me 50% of the service when I tried cancelling …do not recommend.

I have been coming to Hand and Stone for a couple years now, and their nothing short of amazing! The front desk ladies are kind and welcoming, and the RMTs are as equally kind. Vicky is my favourite, and she always gives tips on how I can reduce my discomfort by doing simple stretches. During the pandemic they have be proactive with having sign in sheets and taking all the necessary protocols.

I was here in December for an hour massage that ended with a cold stone therapy on my face. I not only loved my massage with Imani but to end it with the cold stone therapy felt wonderful for my sinus headache I was having that day. I would definitely book another session with Imani, she was excellent

I had a pleasant experience here. The waiting area is comfortable and smelled great and the front desk staff were pleasant and friendly.
The prices are very reasonable and my massage was pretty good and the masseuse was good. I came away feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. I would try it again.

I was recommended here to see Paula and for good reason. Her hands are like magic! Very personable and friendly, but knows exactly what she was doing. Left my skin feeling and looking amazing! If you plan on visiting, I would recommend booking with Paula. You would not be disppointed

I came with my two friends for one of their birthdays. Both of my friends were taken on time I was taken 7 mins after they went in and then waited in the room for the therapist for another 5 mins to start the massage.. he did not massage my hands or feet although I did ask for full body. Very disappointing experience I’ve been to other spas with the same type of breakdown 50 mins of hands on time for the actual massage and I definitely felt like I was shorted. The girl at the front desk seemed overwhelmed and didn’t seem to care how my experience was she was more concerned about charging me for the service. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone

Brand new facility, clean. I have found a miracle worker in James. Went to him in January for a Swedish massage and during our consultation we discussed a pain/pinch I’ve had for 18 months. ONE massage with James, I’ve had no more pain. I’ve seen multiple massage therapists in this time but James was the one for me! I’ve since been back to him and I leave feeling amazing. I’ve also gone to Carla for facials and micro Derm. The woman is a healer with an amazing energy. Best facial I’ve had in ages aside from a couple of swanky places in the city. The manager Melissa couldn’t be nicer! Great communication. So glad to have found a great one stop shop.

I wish if I had never become their member. Today I got a reminder through text message that my appt. was confirmed for today. I had never confirmed an appointment for today and I called them back to cancel it. The customer service lady said that their system shows that appointment was confirmed, but I said that I had never confirmed the appointment, neither I rec’d a phone call from them to confirm it or neither I rec’d any notification from them. They have always called me to confirm my appointment and this time they never made any such notification in advance. Anyways so I asked the Customer Service that I would like to speak to the manager, she said my manager is left for the day and that either I will be charged with Cancellation fee or my previous package will be use against today’s appt. I explained this isn’t fair and I would like to resolve this with your manager. She handed over the phone to Assistant Manager, name Allison who was extremely rude and didn’t resolve the situation at all and instead she hung up the phone. This location is extremely poor in customer service and I can’t be part of their membership if they have such a bad attitude towards their customer. And. I wouldn’t suggest anyone going to this place and if you do then please be aware of your schedule dates/ your membership fees.

If only there was an option to give this Zero stars. This is by far the WORST experience I’ve ever had at any Spa. I booked an appointment on 06/02/2016 for a facial, my concerns were brightness and radiance. Its obvious, having had several facials in the past that the result of ANY good facial leaves a noticeable change on the face. This crappy place is such a sham. For starters, they had an “introductory facial offer of $59.99 which is what lured me into this place (BIGGEST MISTAKE). The therapist did NO work at all. In a facial, you typically have a good face massage time alomg with cleaning. The therapist instead wasted most of the 55 minutes that was allotted towards my facial on just applying exfoliator cream’s and a mask without ANY manual work. She literally did a TWO MINUTE massage, that too on my neck not face. The results of this lame, so called “classic facial’ obviously suck big time. SHe did no cleaning, and I would have rather saved the 60 bucks and done a better job at home.
Bottom line: Save your money, these guys talk big, have this really lame marketing strategy of customizing music and heat in the therapy room which is all show. At the end of the day, you pay money for the service not for crap to market the Spa.
DO NOT GO!

This is an amateur operation. I tried them twice. Both times my therapist was at least 15 minutes late for the appointment. When I complained to the manager, she was unconcerned, became defensive and challenged my feedback. The massage therapists are young and inexperienced. I could smell the lunch that one had just been eating when she was doing my massage, The lobby staff chew gum and behave unprofessionally. You will feel like this is a massage “assembly line.” Don’t waste your time here. Go to Vito Mazza where you will enjoy a truely luxurious spa experience
