This place is great for $40 massage. I’ve tried different masseuse and each one were good. They always get my knot out. I always have shoulder problems due to stress but going here regularly has made it so much better. It’s affordable especially if you need it done more frequently. I usually pay $40 cash and give a $10 tip for 1 hour massage. Give it a try.

I have to disagree with Theresa…I lived in Chiang Rai, Phuket, and Guanzhou teaching English previously and this place is in no way shape or form comparable to being “all world.” In fact I think residents of Hercules/Pinole need to drive 7 miles down Interstate – 80 as there are much better options in El Cerrito/Albany/Berkeley.
I called ahead of time and asked if I could use the sauna prior to my massage with an expected arrival time of 3:30 PM. The person on the phone who I later found out is the owner says “sure I’ll turn the sauna on ahead of time.” I get there on time and the person who answered the phone is no longer in the building. I inform the lady in the front that I called and plan on using the sauna prior to my massage. It took several minutes for her to comprehend this and it turns out the sauna was never turned on and was as cold as a freezer. It took 20 minutes to warm it up and the sauna is literally the size of a phone booth (if you are taller than 6’0″ I do not recommend). The sauna is also located in an area with absolutely no privacy which further hindered my overall experience.
When I am done with the sauna I walk out and there is no one in sight as all off the massage therapists have taken other clients (WHAT THE? DIDN’T I CALL TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT).
After waiting another 15 minutes or so the massage begins. From the massage therapist loudly sucking on her peppermint candy in my ear to her having a conversation with another employee while conducting the massage to her just going through a routine instead of even attempting to locate and clear muscle knots, this was not the most pleasant experience.

I give them a zero star. Some of the ladies are very rude and very greedy. If you don’t tip them good amount they will throw an attitude.

It was worth my $40 plus $10 tip. I had a full body front and back, and it was the best massage I have ever had for the price. If people are looking for anything more like good English speaking, bigger saunas or pay at the end service go to the Claremont Hotel or one of them places that charges $160 for a full body 1 hour massage. Trust me that is hit and miss and you spent $100 plus. Don’t be cheap and take the gamble and spend the $100 plus or lower your high expectations. Come on it’s $40.

Everyone is right here about them not liking your tip and will haggle you for more. My original complaint of pain wasn’t massaged out and at the end when I gave a $10 tip. The asian woman said, “That all. I give you good massage right?” I said it was a good massage but i still had the knot on my upper right shoulder/back area so I felt $10 was good enough. She stood there haggling me and speaking to another asian woman in their language. I gave her another $10 reluctantly and said “here but I’m not coming back anymore” and she was happy and said thank you not even caring about a repeat customer. This is Hercules not Chinatown, I don’t know how their business survived that long unless they are doing illegal stuff that we don’t know about. I was disappointed I had to come back home and ask my wife to massage out the remainder of the knot. Don’t cheap out the massage was only $40 but they will haggle you. Even though its only a $40 massage, I was able to get rid of my own knot with a Brookstone massager. The reason I paid to do it is to hopefully get rid of the knot permanently that keeps coming back every time I wake up. Also the place is dark, cold, slightly creepy. No one was at the front to greet me when I arrived, I had to walk to the back to find someone.

My husband and I have been here many times. We are always relaxed and refreshed when we leave. The ladies are absolutely wonderful! They ask about correct pressure being used and address problem areas. My lower back and sciatic pain feel much better when I leave. Decent price for a good massage and the facility is clean. What more could you ask for? Love this place!

I came here with my boyfriend and I was a little sketchy for sure because it is in the cuts but I was really surprised by how clean and relaxing it was. Defiantly coming here again $40 for 1 hour . The only reason it wasn’t a 5 star for me was because I paid with card so the $80 +$20 tip and she wanted me to add $1.00 for using card I feel that should have been covered by them but overall good experience

Fantastic massage, good price too! I have neck problem due to working in front of my computer all day long. After massage, my neck and back pain was relieved tremendously. Definitely will come back again.

I’m happy I went to check this place out for myself without letting reviews deter me. I went in on a Saturday morning, with no appointment, and was taken to a room right away. Yes, I had to pay in advance but that is not an issue for me. Tina was my masseuse and she nailed every aching, tight, sore, and tense area of my body. Every single one….without me having to tell her anything. She checked in with me about pressure, temperature, and even asked me several times if everything was OK. Yes, she has a heavy accent but this is California, I’m used to it.
If you’re looking for a 5-star luxury spa this is, obviously, not the place. But if you want a great massage in a clean, warm, welcoming environment by someone who clearly is knowledgable about the mechanics of the musculoskeletal system…check it out. And ask for Tina!
