Back again after they re opened due to Covid. So thankful for this place. Their customer service is wonderful and Anna did amazing. She does heavy pressure but can take it down if you need to. I definitely needed it this time so it was perfect. I had terrible knots in my back and neck, feel so relieved. Look forward to the next one.

Messed my back up and could hardly walk in so I searched for a massage place near my work and found this gem.. When I walked up the place said by appointment only but the ladies were super nice and said they could take me in.. I walked in feeling horrible and walked out at least 75% to my normal self this place works miracles in there.

In West San Gabriel Valley there are plethora of reflexology, foot massages and Chinese acupuncture/accupresure locations on every corner especially in the city of San Gabriel. However, after moving to Glendora these places were hard to come by.
As I researched through Zarimassage I came upon upon Glendora Thai Massage located in a small strip mall. What I was looking for was a place that was clean, safe and obviously legitimate. Fortunately the reviews met my expectations and I quickly made an appointment the same day. They actually placed me within 5 minutes of my call!
Upon entering I was greeted by the receptionist who walked me to a private room. In the room there were wall hooks to place your clothes ( you will strip down to your underwear). As you lay on the massage table you cover yourself with a thin sheet listening to spa music while waiting.
When the lady came in she asked me if there were certain areas to concentrate on in which I replied my lower back. She also asked if I wanted free hot stones with my massage which I glady said yes. If you are not familiar with Thai Massage it’s actually quite painful because they push really hard on your joints, nerves, points and muscles. Thai massage is more of a medical way of healing your body. Also, they force you to stretch out your body like in yoga which helps my body stiffness. They do walk on your back but you can ask them not to if it’s too much. Even though it was sorta painful and soothing at the same time I felt rejuvenated really fast.
After the massage they give you some warm water. Payment is $50 for an hour and with a credit card they charge you an extra $2. I will be coming here every month to maintain my body.
The only issue I had was that the walls of the room had a 1 foot gap from the ceiling which causes you to hear everything from the outside but for the price I can be forgiving.
Btw, there is a Thai restaurant next door if you are hungry afterwards

My girlfriends and I stopped by Glendora Thai Massage after our appointment fell through at another local massage place. We called Glendora Thai Massage to see if they had any last minute openings for four people and the ladies up front managed to make the space!
The interior was well maintained, with a variety of rooms for privacy. We received two couples massages and picked the hot stones. While the heat from the stones could be overwhelming at times, they were perfect for relaxing our muscles. They combined the stones with a full body deep tissue massage. I was a little bummed that this offer didn’t include a foot massage.

I’ve searched far and wide for a great massage place and this one certainly takes the cake!!
I’ve been coming to this place for over a year now and will continue to come back since they never disappoint!
Whenever I come, I always set an appointment with Kathy. She certainly has the magic touch and I can say she’s one of the best masseuses I’ve ever had!

I stand by my original review. This is hands down the best spot for a massage! I always get the 90-minute massage because when I did only 60, I wanted more! 90 is perfect because it allows the massage therapist to really work on every part of your body with deep tissue massaging, hot stones, stepping on your pressure points, stretching, etc. ALL of the massage therapists are excellent. They all have slightly different styles but the overall pattern is the same. I think I’ve been massaged by 5 different therapists over the years and each one was better than any massage I’ve had outside of this establishment. Lastly, you really can’t beat the prices!
Needless to say I’ve been coming here sparingly for years but I’m going to make it a habit to come more often. My body is always super tight when I visit and I can’t wait to see how much better I’ll feel if I come on a regular basis thanks

My husband and I used to be regulars who came at least once a month. However, recently we’ve had several scheduling problems. One time we set an appointment and when my husband arrived on time they closed the door and said sorry we are closed. Another time, they double booked appointments over the phone and called us to cancel.
Most recently, we booked appointments with Winnie and April. Winnie called at 6 to ask us if we could come earlier than our 6:30 app because she had a no show. We told her we could not come earlier so when I arrived on time it appeared she took the person who showed up very late at my time slot and told me to wait for another therapist. She tried to make it sound like there was a schedule mix up. I thought this was extremely unprofessional and not considerate of my time. We have young children and our time is limited which is why we always call for appointments and show up on time
As far as technique goes April makes it her mission to take out your knots, but she doesn’t have much finesse or a good flow. Winnie is more relaxing, but lets you know when she is tired so it’s kind of hard getting a massage from somebody who is not into it.
We will not be returning or recommending this place to people we know due to our bad experiences.

I have annoying and chronic neck and lower back pain, so I am always looking to try new massage places that can help alleviate my problems. I have been using another place in a nearby city, but all they offer there is deep tissue massage. I was very curious (and a little bit desperate) to try Thai massage, hoping that would correct my pain problems with new techniques like stepping on my back, and stretching my limps out, you know, the stuff you see in popular media.
Prior to actually getting the massage, my expectations were quite high since the reviews are practically glowing. all the kind words from other customers, I had high hopes that they could work their magic on me.
I made an appointment in the morning, and the staff was very nice and ready to go. I was led to a semi-private room, which had a door, but no wall to the customer next door over. The two “rooms” were simply divided by a curtain. Being a guy, and I was allowed to wear my boxers the entire time, I didn’t find that to be a problem. To other customers, though, this could be a small issue? (Just communicate with the staff members if it is.)
The massage bed that I lied down on was very relaxing, even more so than my regular place. The hole designed for you to put your face downwards was heavily padded and had towels covering the edges all around. Whereas at times I would feel my face’s being numb at my other massage parlor, this location gave my face nothing but softness and comfort.
Kathy (or Cathy?) was my assigned masseur, and she was polite and attentive. She asked me if this was my first time getting a Thai massage, and asked for my consent if stepping on my back was okay. This was very professional and nice of her because some customers might not want that. For me, I want everything. Just get in there and work out my knots, please!
To my surprise, however, a Thai massage and a deep tissue massage did not differ all that much. I told Kathy to focus on my neck and shoulders area, and my lower back, but I didn’t really think the request mattered all that much. In my experience with all massage places really, the masseur would ask you, but the overall massage would not differ all that much. Anyhow, a Thai massage only included a very brief duration of stepping on my back, and a couple of stretching exercises here and there. I kind of wish it included more of that stretching, and maybe I would be more vocal about this at my next visit. I do want to emphasize that I am grateful for Kathy’s being careful with all these special techniques.
The massage included a brief session of hot stone massage, which was nice, because I always felt that heat really helped relax my muscles. Moreover, the hotness from the stones was particularly needed during this session, because it was cold! (That is, I was half naked and the temperature of the room was a bit too cold.) I was actually almost shivering when I first arrived and took off my shirt. At times (during the massage) when she padded me down with a moist warm towel, it could actually make my skin even colder after the towel’s removal. I was kind of shy to inquire about the room temperature, but hopefully they’d read this review and adjust accordingly…
Overall, the massage wasn’t bad, and I am guessing Kathy was being gentle with me because she was afraid to hurt me? Lol. I did have expressions of uneasiness on my face at times because I was very inflexible, but I actually felt she could’ve applied more pressure at my shoulder areas. Though it didn’t quite reach my expectation of magical healing hands, it was a decent service. I would put this location on rotation along with other massage parlors that had helped me in the past.
Lastly, the massage was $45 plus tips for 1 hour, but I was pretty sure I got an extra 5 minutes or so. It shows professionalism when they don’t always check on the clock and stick with the time too strictly. I appreciate that.

My husband called and asked if they could squeeze in a couples massage and they were willing to squeeze us in, even with the fact that our session would end after closing hours. A++++ just for that alone. The women were very nice and heads up- I had NO IDEA what to expect, do not expect this to be a massage where you’re gonna fall asleep from the bliss of gentle massage. Nuh uh. You’re gonna get walked on, stepped on, pulled, twisted, I felt like a pretzel! I did feel great after and still do. So would I go back? Honestly, I prefer to be able to fall asleep in the delicate massage, because I’m fragile like a flower.

This is the second time I’ve come here.
I go when my body tells me it’s time. It was time and once again I was completely satisfied with the service. I left pretty much feeling immediate results. I’ve been to other places and left the same and feeling some improvement a couple days later , so not completely bad. However this place has given me relief immediately. Im taking a chance only going twice and both visits positive that they do a great job.
I’ve been to other places but decided this is the place that has helped the most so deserving of a positivity thumbs up rating.
