I’ve been craving a really good massage for 5 months, and Frun at Buddha just delivered!! I finally found a place near me that was open for outdoor massages at a reasonable rate! I called and they were able to schedule me to come in the same day. They were very clean and careful. The digitally took my temp, had me put shoe covers on before walking me back to the tent, and had hand sanitizer readily accessible. They confirmed that they change all the sheets between each customer. The tents were very slightly see through, so I think I’ll try to go in the evening next time. They had a tower fan in each tent which helped keep me cool throughout the massage. Very very happy I found this place!! Parking is also very easy

Ok wow!! I was not expecting what I got. So I usually do a Chinese foot reflexology or a Thai Massage if I wanting to get stretched. We made a pretty last-minute reservation and I was very skeptical as we were driving up and parking. There is plenty of street parking but there are definitely some sketchy bums floating around.
I had asked for a male masseuse who would be able to apply harder pressure. It was great that he tested and did three different levels to see what I preferred. He was great at identifying where my pain points and knots were and really worked hard at getting them out. It was nice that he combined different techniques and even utilized some ice bags on my sore legs! Plus, he did a great job massaging pressure points on my feet to the point where it was almost better than reflexology!
The only thing is that I’m not sure how consistent this level of service is as the hubby did not get the ice bags or knot work. I guess this means I’ll have to be back!!!!

Called and made an appointment 30 min out. There was a bit of a language barrier but I’m also a noob at massages. I was a bit doubtful at times with what she was doing but once she got to my messed up shoulder I think she realized how jacked up it was and really attacked it. She got me into some submission holds and performed a couple pro wrestling moves but at the end of the day I can look left and right without wanting to die so mission accomplished. Should have had more faith in her 🙂

Avoid like the plague! Terrible attitude Establishment was dingy and quite dirty. The masseuse has minimal technical skill and was completely ignoring my requests . Terrible in all respects.

Before I stepped into the door, judging from the parking lot I thought I had come to a super sketchy place. The back door doesn’t open, so we had to go around to the front door. I had called for an appointment at 3:15 and I was pretty lucky to get one at 4pm. Once I entered, it seemed pretty decent. Especially through another door, it seemed like a whole different world. The lighting was dim to create a sense of relaxation, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable with music in the background.
My massagist was very nice. I asked for hard because usually they don’t go hard at all, but I soon regretted it once she stepped onto my back (she did ask me though if she could), and I was like “omg my bone is gonna break.” But once I became less nervous, it felt really really good! I liked the strength level throughout. The only thing was that it got really really cold… but the girl was very nice and covered my up immediately. I felt so relaxed afterwards, needed it and will come back. Good price!

I normally get Chinese foot massages/reflexology in the area but a friend and I tried to book a last minute appointment unsuccessfully so we called Buddha Thai Massage not really knowing what to expect but excited to try something new. I believe they do just walk in appointments but we called and said we could be there shortly and they told us to come on over. When we got there one other guy was waiting and we got brought in in maybe 10-15 minutes. They had to decline other customers for the remainder of the day so if you do come here I’d advise to make an appointment earlier.
I opted for the Traditional Thai/Oil combo that goes for $45 for 60 minutes. I had only done a Thai massage once before years ago and didn’t remember this experience but this was one to remember! First off, you undress to your underwear and they have you wear a pair of pants. You lay in your own space (all ‘beds’ are separated by curtains) and there’s no hole for your head (it just lays to one side). My masseuse started with pressure across my back, which made it crack a little. Then the oil massage where she focused on my shoulders and neck as I requested. Ended the massage with stretching that I didn’t even know my body could do. At the end of the massage my body had cracked in every which way possible, and I felt relaxed and elongated.
My only complaint is that the oil they use is similar to icy-hot. My skin is pretty sensitive so it got a bit aggravated from the oil. Next time I want to see if they can use a different kind of oil. Other than that, it was a great massage and I will probably try and go again!

I really liked my Thai massage (no oils)/with June. I don’t love that you get a thin pillow for your head, but she is worth it. It took me a long time to speak up when I don’t want the massage to be too deep (I’m a super wuss about that stuff). But you have to speak up. They usually assume you want more pressure. If you tell them to go gentler it’s less work for the masseuse so no harm no foul. They legit walk on your back and have the bar above you in order to control pressure.
They also include a tip guide which makes it easier. I pay the base in credit ($39) and tip in cash ($20). Easy street parking.

2 of the girls are great that I had a massage with. One of them I had recently was having a bad day. Not sure but she was in a very negative mood and didn’t really try. I thought about walking out half way through. It’s too bad I really like the location, close to my house. Will have to find a new massage place. The energy was so negative.

Got the deep tissue massage for 90 minutes. I came in for my back and shoulders mostly, which were so much better afterwards. They do walk on you but the pressure was good throughout. They also did some stretches toward the end which can be painful but they helped.
It would be better if there was a fluffy pillow or something to cushion your head. You lay down on the floor which can strain your neck and they don’t have the usual raised massage bed where your head faces down. Also the head massage could be improved (more pressure instead of scratches). Overall the massage was still good though.
Note – Parking is on the street and only available for an hour.
