I’m 34 weeks pregnant and needed a massage – desperately. But in Covid times it’s hard to trust that all precautionary measures are being taken to ensure the safety of people. I was happily surprised at the level of care and safety Mantis Massage has – they’re so serious about it. Knowing and expecting this made me be able to fully relax for some much needed pampering.

The therapists are kind, knowledgeable and professional. They will truly take the time to understand your needs and customize your experience. I’ve also been introduced to cupping therapy for the first time and will definitely be continuing that in future sessions!

I tried Mantis based on a recommendation from a work colleague and genuinely enjoyed my first massage. I followed it up with three more visits thanks to a gift card present and was very satisfied with the ladies who assisted me. Having worked on my feet, these massages were very meaningful and most of all relaxing.

I have a lower back injury and Katie took the time to understand my injury and where my pain points were. Due to my injury I get a lot of massages and this was hands down the best treatment I have received. I felt feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and in much less pain than when I arrived. A cute place – very clean and COVID safe (masks required). I already re-booked my next appointment. Thanks Katie!

Kelsey is the best masseuse I’ve ever had ! When I first came in for a “neck slant” due to bad posture, she fixed it within one session. When I came in for carpal tunnel pain, she reduced the pain significantly. She knows her field extremely well, and each subsequent massage is better than the last one! She always has a great energy/vibe about her. and is a genuinely friendly/great person. I highly recommend her and Mantis Massage

Nice place, clean facilities, and great communication. I liked everything, but I wouldn’t recommend for deep tissue. I REALLY needed a deep tissue massage for my shoulders and lower back…No fault of the therapist, but it just wasnt what I expected or hoped for. BUT SHE HAD A GREAT PERSONALITY AND WAS VERY KIND.
Update: The pain/tight feeling in my shoulders is back (within a couple of hours). Again, great person but… Not the deep tissue I expected. Ive never had my tightness come back in the same day. I’m a little disappointed, but the manager responded to my concerns. Again, the therapist waa good, but I’m going to try somewhere else for deep tissue and hopefully come back and try again in a couple of months.

Ok, so I met Popeye’s sister yesterday. It has to be his sister. Ms Kelsey is such a tiny person, yet her hands and arms turn into these full strength rolling batons. She has to eat spinach for lunch and dinner. I mean, I felt like I was tight going in, yet, going out I was almost jelloie. She’s awesome.
I have a boxing match set up, in my head, at the beginning of my session with each back, calf, foot, shoulder and arm knot taken out I determine a certain amount to tip at the session end. Ms Kelsey is highly targeted and found each one from shoulder to back, calves and feet.
The Studio manager Ms Ashley, (MantisMassage.com) does a “client to professional” match up with needs and off you go. She’s the Simon Cowell of The Mantis team. I think I have found a new place. I am paid by the VA hospital to get 1-2 monthly massages and 1 Chiropractor appointment every 6-8 months. So, this is my new spot.

Katie was my masseuse today and this was hands down the BEST massage I have ever gotten! Not only was the office very clean, Katie was following all COVID-19 restrictions and was very friendly, professional, and attentive to the pain I had in my back. Her massage was the exact level of pressure I had asked for and felt immediate relief after my massage was over. Thanks Katie!

Mantis is the best. My therapist was Krysten and I swear, that woman could work knots out of a tree. She was amazing, listened to my concerns and preferences and did amazing work. The room was quiet, her music was great and it was nice without overwhelming the olfactory system. The lotion she used was great and didn’t feel greasy after I put my clothes back on. I walked out of there feeling like I had switched bodies with someone younger and without much stress. I also love how I could get an appointment at 7:45 am so I could get to work at a reasonable time still.

I had Katie and she was a miracle worker easing out knots in my shoulders that developed from a bike ride and sedentary work life. She was very meticulous in dealing with every sore spot on my body and some areas that I didn’t even realize were sore. Very knowledgeable. The place itself is very cute, and takes you away from the hustling city. Definitely would visit again here

Worst massage ever! I get massages on a regular basis and this was honestly the worst experience ever. I am from out town so found Mantis via a google search. When I scheduled my appt they told me to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork, as it was my first visit there. I arrived at 8:45 for a 9:00 massage and had to stand out in the rain because the doors were locked until 9:00. My therapist was Michele.I should’ve stayed home and just had my husband give me a massage. It would’ve been way better than what I received. First of all, she asked what I was looking for from the massage. I told her I was having horrible lower back pain so was hoping to get some relief from that. She massaged my lower back a total of 2 minutes during a 60 minute massage! I felt ZERO relief when the massage was over. She kept saying, “you need to relax. Your body is resisting me.” Duh, if my body could relax I wouldn’t be here! And my body is resisting you because you are hurting me. She was grumpy from the get-go. And then she said, “your body can’t handle a deep tissue massage.I can’t even get through the first layer.” A good masseuse would be able to work through anything. It was honestly the worst. I spent money on a massage that I was hoping would end as soon as possible. Such a huge disappointment. Spend your money and go elsewhere!

I always thought this place was in a weird location so I never bothered to check it out, but I wish I had! They are clean, professional, and a lovely ambience. I was worked on by Cait and she was amazing. She responded well to all of my requests and even though she wasn’t an advanced massage therapist, her pressure and technique were spot on. I will definitely be back to this hidden little gem!

Monica is a miracle worker and a godsend! I had intense lower back pain going in and wasn’t able to move much. But, Monica was able to explain exactly what was causing the pain, how to relieve it, and how to prevent it going forward. I felt so much better afterwards and felt better equipped with the knowledge to prevent this crippling pain.
