The worst banking choice in Alaska! 1) If you have direct deposit they will delay it by a few days compared to other banks. 2) If you deposit a cashiers check they will put a hold on it for several days, unlike other banks. 3) The final straw was a suspicious withdrawal of multiple thousands of dollars from my account which they authorized without my permission or even my notification.
Your money is not safe with them!

This banking org. have some great rates, no doubt on that,,but their way to assist you when you call in their c.s is freaking stupid, needed help to reset my online banking password, and this is how it went first you callo
1-Enter account number (that is not the same as your c.card number) did not know that
2-talk to 1st lady and giver her my info and answer 3-5 stupid security questions, and then you tell her what you need and she transfers you
3-transfer to another dept. you enter your acct # that you now got from the 1st lady, and you wait on the phone for almost 30min
4-2nd lady answer and now she wants your account that you enter when you got transfer, and have to answer her security questions again,,,
5-after all question answer you tell her your problem and you still not in the right dept…F that, I hang up,,,what a waste of fkn time

This pathetic institution should NOT be called a bank/credit union. I left the state of Washington for temporary work. I did not forward my mail, therefore having to use electronic checks. They returned nearly all my payments, and then said they didn’t! WTF?
Even after I emailed the declines with my correct account number on these documents. It took about 8 hours on hold and speaking to rude employees to find out that it’s time to go. The second I get back to Washington, I’m out.
Learn from my mistakes.

TCF in AZ sold out to these idiots. Anytime I make an online purchase they lock me out…this is followed by my calling them and being placed on hold, then hold again (usually 45 minuted of my life wasted, time I won’t spend living) The service stinks and they do LIE. I’m taking my $ elsewhere as I do not have the time or energy dealing with these clowns.
I’ve been with 2 other credit unions in my life and this place treats customers as numbers…last 6 digits of my social? Not secure! Looking to screw members at any cost. Cost you thousands from me AND I’m sure millions in total from other disgruntled “members” Take an ethics class jerk faces

The customer service at this company is abhorrent. I had the misfortune of dealing with Mrs. Lupe in the special credits department and her customer service skills were absolute trash. I asked to speak with the original representative I started with (3 mins ago) and she told me he was unavailable but assured me that she could assist me.
After I explained my issue, she refused to help me, so again I requested to speak with the original representative who was much nicer and more professional and said I don’t mind waiting. Then this trifling, annoying woman who inserted herself into my presence puts her coworker “Jordan” on the phone who just repeated the same crap. Again, I requested to speak with the original representative.
She tried to discourage me from talking to him and said he was assisting another customer, so I asked if I could hold on line until he was finished. I held on line a few minutes and realized she had no intention of letting me speak to him. So I called back and unfortunately I got the same dumb ass Mrs. Lupe who then lied and said he went home for the day.
Now keep in mind that I’m a customer with an active account in this company and this is how I was treated. I’ll be closing my account and I will never look back. I discourage anyone from opening an account with this credit union. Just look at some of the other reviews…the negative behavior in this department (Special Credits) is consistent and unaddressed.
Jordan has been working there for years, I’ve had several telephone encounters with her and they were ALL unpleasant which is the only reason I can remember her name, and my experience with Mrs. Lupe was completely unnecessary, she should have just transferred me back to the original representative I was dealing with. These people need real training in customer service. Until then this two star rating is pretty accurate. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

Unfortunately like many other people I was offered the lowest rate for an auto loan through my dealership while buying a truck. I am now looking to refinance the truck after a little more than a year because AlaskaUSA is so hard to deal with and their website is nothing short of embarrassing. Get caught up to the year 2020 people!

I am brand new with this bank.I was with TCF bank than they sold it to this bank. Am not happy already tried to open my account online and they lock me out . I read the reviews i am taking my money out going to a different bank. I can see the writing on the wall.
